This is a spatial layer that reflects operational activities for cutblocks contained within harvesting authorities. The Forest Tenures Section (FTS) is responsible for the creation and maintenance of digital Forest Atlas files for the province of British Columbia encompassing Forest and Range Act Tenures. It also supports the forest resources programs delivered by MoFR. Each feature contains a Ministry of Forests and Range (MoFR) FEATURE_CLASS_SKEY (number) column that further defines the type of that feature. The layer contains cutblock boundaries for the following feature classes: Forest Licence Cut Block (555), Licence to Cut Cut Block (616), Timber Licence Cut Block (810), Timber Sale Licence Major Cut Block (817), Timber Sale Licence Minor CB Non Replaceable (820), Tree Farm Licence Cut Block (833), Wood Lot Licence Cut Block (863), Community Forest Cut Block (2402), and Timber Sale Licence Minor CB Replaceable (2417). Each cut block has a life cycle status that is either PENDING - the cut block has been submitted as a new cut block or an amendment, but is not yet approved or rejected, ACTIVE - the cut block is approved and activities may be taking place on the cut block, or RETIRED - all activities, with respect to the harvesting authority, have been completed for the cut block

Determines the location of Coal Titles within the Province of British Columbia. It is established under the authority of the Petroleum and Natural Gas Grid Regulation. It is defined by a set of UTM coordinates which approximate NAD 27 latitude and longitude positions. Blocks are the second finest level of the coal grid. A block consists of 100 units divided into 10 rows by 10 columns. There are also 12 blocks in a group, comprising 3 rows by 4 columns and labelled A to L. E.G. 084E05L

The spatial representation for a Timber Supply Area or TSA Supply Block: A Timber Supply Area is a designated area established by the Ministry in order to practice sound, integrated, resource management principles to improve the allowable annual cuts. TSAs were originally defined by an established pattern of wood flow from management units to the primary timber-using industries. They are the primary unit for allowable annual cut (AAC) determination. A TSA Supply Block is a designated area within the TSA where the Ministry approves the allowable annual cuts

Often these parcels were surveyed before township surveys in their area. They may also be supplemental to them (as is the case with some Cadastral Islands). Sometimes these were laid out after a township survey was done, so some may be part of a geographic township. Cadastral Location includes the following: GTP Block - Timber block used by the Grand Trunk Pacific Railway for feeding steam engines, building bridges, and for supplying railway ties. Mining Location - A parcel of land whose surveyed boundaries were laid out during the late nineteenth century for the Crown sale of land for mining purposes to groups or individuals. Cadastral Island - Island delineated on survey plans. It may or may not be part of a geographic township. Other Location - A parcel of land whose surveyed boundaries were laid out during the late nineteenth century for the Crown sale of land for various agricultural or farming purposes to groups or individuals. These locations are mainly found in Northern Ontario and also exist in the un-surveyed territories.

Yukon First Nations and Tetlit Gwich'in settlement lands including both rural blocks (R-block) and Fee Simple lands of the First Nations that have ratified their agreements. In a block there are 100 units, 10 rows by 10 columns, and numbered consecutively, starting in the southeast corner. The units are numbered 1 to 10, 11 - 20 etc. always reading from right to left. Fields included ( Alias (Field Name): Field description.) Site Address (Site_Address): Address of the facility. Facility Number (Facility_Number): Number assigned to the facility. Facility Name (Facility_Name): Registered name of the facility. Facility Type (Facility Type): Facilities’ permits issued are specific to the type of product manufactured.  Facility Category: The different permit categories include: Processed Products – Facilities with permits in this category include food operations that produce processed food products (ex: condiments, candy, snack food, other prepared food). Food Warehousing, Distribution and Repackaging – Facilities with permits in this category include operations that store and distribute food products and may conduct basic repackaging ex: bulk dry goods into smaller retail packages. Meat Processing – Facilities with permits in this category include operations that make various meat products ranging from raw meat cuts to products such as sausage and jerky. Also in this category are facilities that make products like smoked fish. Their permits only allow the products to be sold within Manitoba. Bottling – Facilities with permits in this category include water bottling plants, soft drink manufacturers, breweries, wineries, distilleries, juice manufacturers, ice making plants and other similar plants. Grain/Oil Seed Processing – Facilities with permits in this category include grain and seed cleaning and packaging facilities, flourmills, oil processors, etc. Abattoirs – Facilities with permits in this category are abattoirs that slaughter animals under the oversight of a government inspector to produce meat for sale within the province. Dairy Products Processing – Facilities with permits in this category process dairy products (ex: raw milk cheese). Program Area (Program_Area): Program area. Work Area (Work_Area): Work area.
