This data layer has been created for mainly MHI data users, that require relatively up-to-date and accurate description of all ferry routes in the Province of Saskatchewan.FERRYSEG_OFFICIAL consists of the data for the average route a ferryboat takes when transporting vehicles between two fixed locations on the Road Network. "NID" National Identifier is used to manage the updates between data producer and data users. FERRYSEG_OFFICIAL data layer serves as a foundation for SURN, NRN, SASK911 and other applications.

Base waterbody polygon arcs are feature type, source and capture date attributed arcs that make up the boundaries of base waterbody polygons in the Base Features Hydrography geospatial dataset. These arcs were collected from conversion processes of 1:20 000, 1:50 000 and AVI Provincial mapping datasets and 1:50 000 National Topographic Data Base (NTDB).

Examples of furbearer species are beaver, muskrat, otter, mink, fox, and raccoon.Wildlife Management Zones were first established by Fish & Wildlife Branch in the early 1990s by combining climate, topography, geology and soils layers to identify unique zones with differences in basic landscape features relevant to wildlife. These were adjusted to boundaries easily recognized by the public. Most boundaries follow roads, rivers, lakes, streams or railroads.Do not confuse Wildlife Management Zones with Wildlife Management Areas and Wildlife Refuges (in the Wildlife Refuge GIS layer).

This dataset is provided by the Ministry of Utilities and Affordability, Rural Utilities Branch, and represents rural low-pressure pipelines (less than 700 kPa) and customer meters in Alberta that are under the jurisdiction of the Gas Distribution Act, including Gas Co-operatives, First Nations, Municipalities and Counties, Private Systems, Apex Utilities Inc., and ATCO Gas Inc. The data is based on the annual submissions of construction as-builts to Rural Utilities, Alberta Affordability and Utilities. The geodatabase contains linear pipeline data features and customer meter point features. The pipeline data features contain: Pipe material. Status. Year built, if known, and the name of the natural gas distributor and general contact information for inquiries and requests. The meter attributes include the type of meter and the contact information for each distributor. The Customer meters features contain: Meter Code. Meter Type. and the name of the natural gas distributor and general contact information for inquiries and requests.
