Cervid ecological zones
Broad management guidance is applied across each Cervid Ecological Zone (CEZ) to help set local population and habitat objectives. CEZs reflect the overarching cervid management intent at the landscape level. The foundation for CEZs is Ontario’s Ecological Land Classification, with consideration given to: * cervid species ranges * landscape level variations in habitat and climate CEZs build on the existing Wildlife Management Unit network while recognizing that species and habitat ranges fluctuate over time.
Ecological reference framework
The Quebec Ecological Reference Framework (CERQ) is a tool for mapping and ecological classification of Quebec territory. It apprehends the territory from the general to the particular, in a hierarchical system of interlocking levels of perception. This layer of information was produced as part of the ecological knowledge project of the Ministry of Sustainable Development, Environment and the Fight against Climate Change (MDDELCC). **This third party metadata element was translated using an automated translation tool (Amazon Translate).**
STAC-Item - ON 2016 17 Peterborough 1m - Mosaic of High Resolution Digital Elevation Model (HRDEM) by LiDAR acquisition project
High-Resolution Digital Elevation Model (HRDEM) generated from LiDAR. This data collection includes a Digital Terrain Model (DTM) and a Digital Surface Model (DSM). The HRDEM product is referenced to the Canadian Geodetic Vertical Datum of 2013 (CGVD2013). Source data for HRDEM datasets is acquired through multiple projects with different partners. Since data is being acquired by project, there is no integration or edgematching done between projects. The data in this collection have been reprojected from the source reference system to the Canada Atlas Lambert projection (EPSG:3979). **This third party metadata element follows the Spatio Temporal Asset Catalog (STAC) specification.**
