Total Soil Moisture (mm)
Total soil moisture is the modelled amount of plant available water (mm) in the root zone of the soil. The value given is the amount calculated to be present on the modeled day of the product.Values are computed using the Versatile Soil Moisture Budget (VSMB)
Contaminants in fish database
The contaminants in fish database is a compilation of contaminant data analysed from fish tissue at the Fresh Water Institute from 1970 to 2005. Data include lab number, region, analysis, organs, species, lake, form (whole fish, headon dressed, headless dressed), weight, and length and contaminant concentrations. Total mercury was the predominant contaminant measured. Results were expressed as ppm or ppb based on the parameter analyzed. Concentrations are expressed based on wet weight.
Seasonal total alkalinity climatology of the Canadian Pacific Exclusive Economic Zone from BCCM model (1981-2010)
Description:Seasonal mean total alkalinity from the British Columbia continental margin model (BCCM) were averaged over the 1981 to 2010 period to create seasonal mean climatology of the Canadian Pacific Exclusive Economic Zone. Methods:Total alkalinities at up to forty-six linearly interpolated vertical levels from surface to 2400 m and at the sea bottom are included. Spring months were defined as April to June, summer months were defined as July to September, fall months were defined as October to December, and winter months were defined as January to March. The data available here contain raster layers of seasonal total alkalinity climatology for the Canadian Pacific Exclusive Economic Zone at 3 km spatial resolution and 47 vertical levels.Uncertainties:Model results have been extensively evaluated against observations (e.g. altimetry, CTD and nutrient profiles, observed geostrophic currents), which showed the model can reproduce with reasonable accuracy the main oceanographic features of the region including salient features of the seasonal cycle and the vertical and cross-shore gradient of water properties. However, the model resolution is too coarse to allow for an adequate representation of inlets, nearshore areas, and the Strait of Georgia.

Geophysics Residual Magnetic Total Fields - 50m
The Yukon is underlain by a great variety of rock types ranging in age from Early Proterozoic to Recent. The various rock types are characterized by different magnetic intensity and this map shows those variations at the regional scale, with highly magnetic rocks represented by warm colours and non-magnetic rocks shown in cool colours. The Residual Total Field magnetic map shows a measure of the total magnetic intensity in the Earth's crust. This magnetic compilation was extracted from the compilation of Oneschuk et al. (2019). The data was gridded at 50 m.Magnetic data for Yukon can be obtained from: [http://gdrdap.agg.nrcan.gc.ca/](http://gdrdap.agg.nrcan.gc.ca/)Distributed from [GeoYukon](https://yukon.ca/geoyukon) by the [Government of Yukon](https://yukon.ca/maps) . Residual total magnetic field, Kluane area aeromagnetic survey, Parts of NTS 115 G/8, 115 H/5 and 115 H/6, Yukon
This map of the residual total magnetic field was derived from data acquired during a helicopter-borne aeromagnetic survey carried out by Fugro Airborne Surveys during the period between February 4 to March 15, 2010. The data were recorded using split-beam cesium vapour magnetometers (sensitivity = 0.005 nT) rigidly mounted on each of the two Astar 350B aircraft (C-FGSC and C-GAVO). The nominal traverse and control line spacings were, respectively, 400 m and 2 400 m, and the aircraft flew at a nominal terrain clearance of 100 m. Traverse lines were oriented N30°E with orthogonal control lines. The flight path was recovered following post-flight differential corrections to the raw Global Positioning System data and inspection of ground images recorded by a vertically-mounted video camera. The survey was flown on a pre-determined flight surface to minimize differences in magnetic values at the intersections of control and traverse lines.

Percentage of owner households spending 30% or more income on shelter costs by census subdivision, 2016
This service shows the proportion of average total income of households which is spent on shelter costs by census subdivision. The data is from the Census Profile, Statistics Canada Catalogue no. 98-316-X2016001.Shelter-cost-to-income ratio is calculated for private households living in owned or rented dwellings who reported a total household income greater than zero.Private households living in band housing, located on an agricultural operation that is operated by a member of the household, and households who reported a zero or negative total household income are excluded. The relatively high shelter-costs-to-household income ratios for some households may have resulted from the difference in the reference period for shelter costs and household total income data. The reference period for shelter cost data is 2016, while household total income is reported for the year 2015. As well, for some households, the 2015 household total income may represent income for only part of a year. For additional information refer to the 2016 Census Dictionary for 'Total income' and 'Shelter cost'.To have a cartographic representation of the ecumene with this socio-economic indicator, it is recommended to add as the first layer, the “NRCan - 2016 population ecumene by census subdivision” web service, accessible in the data resources section below.
