Flammulated Owl Habitat Suitability - Cariboo NR Region
This polygon dataset identifies the habitat suitability rating for Flammulated Owl (FLOW) within the Cariboo Natural Resource Region. The habitat suitability rating is based on Biogeoclimatic Ecosystem Classification (BEC), forest age class, crown closure, tree species, harvest activity, silviculture activity, slope and aspect.
Historic silviculture activities - 50k
These are the specific silviculture activities that took place within an opening in order to meet silviculture obligations after a disturbance. These activities may have been conducted over the entire opening or just a portion of the opening, and multiple activities may overlap. RESULTS - Activity Treatment Units
An opening's disturbance and silviculture activities reported into RESULTS. Most activities are within opening boundaries with the exception of broadcast treatments. An opening may have more than one activities associated with it. Activities may also overlap each other. Reporting of disturbance and silviculture attribute information is a mandatory requirement while the map is optional. This is part of the Silviculture and Land status Tracking dataset, which includes tracking harvesting and silviculture obligations on Crown Land

The purpose of this feature class is to show areas that are National Parks (NPs), National Park Reserves (NPRs) and National Marine Conservation Area (NMCAs). Parks Canada manages more than 43 NPs. (See: https://parks.canada.ca/voyage-travel/recherche-tous-parks-all) for a list of PCA administered parks.By using this data, it is important to understand and accept that the data is not to be used for defining boundaries. The dataset includes the following fields (Alias (Name): Description) Park (Park): Name of the provincial park where the trail or recreation area is located Feature (Feature): Name of the trail or recreation area Activity (Activity): Contains a list of activities designated for the trail Length (Length): Length of the trail in kilometres Groom Date (Groom_Date): Date of the most recent grooming of the trail Rating (Rating): An overall rating of the trail or recreation area given the current conditions. 100 Class - Canadian Ecological Domain Classification from Satellite Data
100 Class - Canadian Ecological Domain Classification from Satellite Data. Satellite derived data including 1) topography, 2) landscape productivity based on photosynthetic activity, and 3) land cover were used as inputs to create an environmental regionalization of the over 10 million km2 of Canada’s terrestrial land base. The outcomes of this clustering consists of three main outputs. An initial clustering of 100 classes was generated using a two-stage multivariate classification process. Next, an agglomerative hierarchy using a log-likelihood distance measure was applied to create a 40 and then a 14 class regionalization, aimed to meaningfully group ecologically similar components of Canada's terrestrial landscape. Waste Management Site
This new data class brings over data from the Waste Management Information System (WMIS), which is a Microsoft Access based database used by the Ministry of Natural Resources (MNR) to track Waste Management Sites. This was married with the spatial data from Waste Disposal Sites where possible Different Waste Disposal Site types collected by the Ministry of Natural Resources include: * Compost Disposal * Hazardous Waste Disposal * Household Waste Disposal * Industrial Waste Disposal * Septic Drying Bed * Septic Field * Sewage Disposal * Tile Bed * Transfer Station This product requires the use of geographic information system (GIS) software.

Class 1 quartz land use operations
The Yukon government amended the Quartz Mining Act and the Placer Mining Actin December 2013, to establish the authority to designate areas where government notification of Class 1 exploration activities is required. Before these amendments to the mining acts and regulation came into effect, prospectors undertaking Class 1 activities were not required to inform government of their work. Class 1 exploration activities generally have low potential to cause adverse environmental effects. A Notification is required if an exploration program is categorized as class 1 (OIC 2003/59 and OIC 2003/64) and located either on settlement land (category A or B) or within a class 1 notification area (OIC 2013/221).
