2006 Commercial Vehicle Survey: origin and destination
## General guidelines 1. The dataset contains trip origin, destination, commodity group, average daily trips, commodity weight and value. 2. The data represents activity by medium and heavy trucks only. 3. The origin and destination data is aggregated by counties in Ontario and province or state outside of Ontario. 4. The commodities are grouped into 32 groups and empty trucks. 5. The Commercial Vehicle Survey targets travel on provincial facilities. Therefore, coverage of intra-urban trips is incomplete, and should not be interpreted as representative. 6. Trip activity within the Greater Toronto Area municipalities is not representative. 7. The average trip distance is 440 km. Caution must be exercised with short distance trip activities. 8. All Origin-destination pairs with average trip activity of less than one trip per day have been suppressed. ## Field descriptions **Origin zone** : Trip Origin Zone Number - Zone aggregation is counties in Ontario and province/state for others 35XX - Ontario counties 70XX - U.S. States XX00-XX00 (except 3500) - Canadian Provinces **Origin name** : Trip Origin Name - county or province/state name **Destination zone** : Trip Destination Zone Number - Zone aggregation is counties in Ontario and province/state for others. National Inventory of Orphaned and Abandoned Mines
This database aggregates basic information on orphaned and abandoned mine sites from participating Canadian jurisdictions, including their name, location, jurisdiciton, and the commodity that was mined. It was originally created in 2012 through the National Orphaned/Abandoned Mines Initiative and has undergone several updates since that time. Data on sites in each jurisdiction is owned and maintained by that jurisdiction. The database includes links to the corresponding records in that jursidiction. While the database includes common informaiton about all sites, there may be discrepancies in the types of data provided about sites in different jurisdictions and data from some jurisdictions may be updated more frequently than others.

Mineral Resource Assessment
This data set represents the digital Mineral Resource potential of the Province of Saskatchewan. This dataset represents the mineral resource potential of Saskatchewan. Methodologies used to determine a ranking system of low to high mineral potential areas. 6 being high mineral potential while 1 being low. The data was created as a file geodatabase feature class and output for public distribution. **Please Note – All published Saskatchewan Geological Survey datasets, including those available through the Saskatchewan Mining and Petroleum GeoAtlas, are sourced from the Enterprise GIS Data Warehouse. They are therefore identical and share the same refresh schedule.
Chemical Expense Index 2001
The data represents the relative expense of farm chemicals (herbicides, insecticides and fungicides) in the agricultural area of Alberta. It is an estimate of the degree to which crop production agriculture may contribute to surface or groundwater contamination.Agriculture production that makes greater use of herbicides, insecticides and pesticides in generally considered more intensive. Presenting the relative farm chemical expenses by SLC polygons reveals where the most intensive agricultural production in the province occurs. Chemical use is part of an equation to determine a measure of surface water quality risk. If an area is known to have certain risk factors that would affect not only surface, but groundwater quality as well, a higher chemical expense index ranking in that same area may be of concern. Where risks of surface or groundwater contamination exist, environmental farm planning can help to minimize them.
Manure Production Index 2001
The data represents the relative amount of manure production in the agricultural area of Alberta. It is an estimate of the degree to which livestock production may contribute to nutrient loading, pathogens and odour. The classes shown on the map are ranked between 0 (lowest) and 1 (highest). This resource was created in 2002 using ArcGIS.
