Sewer sumps
An element of the drainage system intended for the collection and delivery of runoff water to the sewer line or ditch. Structure, equipped with a spillway, used to capture runoff and deliver it, as appropriate, to the storm sewer or combined sewer line. The information associated with the geographic data corresponds to the type of sump, date of installation, status, owner, and jurisdiction.__CAUTION__: This data is published annually, so it does not include updates made during the year. For this reason, they should under no circumstances be used for engineering purposes without validation by the City.**This third party metadata element was translated using an automated translation tool (Amazon Translate).**
ACIMS Non-Sensitive Element Occurrences
An Element Occurrence (EO) is an area of land and/or water in which a species or ecological community is, or was, present. An Element is either a species (or subspecies taxa) or an ecological community, the Occurrence is the documented location. The EO concept is part of NatureServe methodology. This methodology is used throughout the NatureServe network. EOs are created based on the Element Occurrence Data Standard and are a derived product developed from submitted observations. An EO should have practical conservation value for the Element as evidenced by potential continued (or historical) presence and/or regular recurrence at a given location. For Species Elements, the EO often corresponds with the local population, but when appropriate may be a portion of a population (e.g., for long distance dispersers) or may be a group of nearby populations (e.g., metapopulation). For Ecological Community Elements, the EO may represent a stand or patch of a natural community, or a cluster of stands or patches of a natural community. This dataset contains Non-sensitive EOs. Non-Sensitive EOs are locations (i.e. occurrences) of species or communities that are rare (or of conservation concern for some other reason) and for which there are no restrictions regarding public access to location data (beyond agreeing to the Terms and Conditions detailed below). This data updates on a daily basis.
Sewer manholes
This set of punctual data shows the manholes located on the Island of Montreal. These manholes are compartments through which sewers can be accessed in order to clean, inspect and maintain them. The manholes are placed at regular intervals on the right-hand section of the main pipe. In straight sections, the maximum distance between two manholes is 120 meters. The manholes are generally placed at the beginning of a network, i.e. at the head of the furthest section and at the points where the pipe changes direction, altitude, slope and/or diameter. The information associated with the geographic data corresponds to the type and material of the manhole, date of installation, status, owner and jurisdiction.__CAUTION__: This data is published annually, so it does not include updates made during the year. For this reason, they should under no circumstances be used for engineering purposes without validation by the City.**This third party metadata element was translated using an automated translation tool (Amazon Translate).**
Critical minerals advanced projects, mines and processing facilities in Canada
This dataset contains primary processing facilities (e.g., smelters and refineries), mines and advanced projects related to Canada’s 34 critical minerals. Advanced projects are those with mineral reserves or resources (measured or indicated), the potential viability of which is supported by a preliminary economic assessment or a prefeasibility/feasibility study. These sites process, produce or consider producing at least one of Canada's critical minerals, but other minerals and metals may also be present. This dataset contains links that direct to non-Government of Canada websites that are not subject to the Privacy Act, the Official Languages Act or the Standard on Web Accessibility. Please see our terms and conditions for more information (https://www.nrcan.gc.ca/terms-and-conditions/10847).Primary processing facilities and mines data are sourced from Map 900A, Principal mineral areas, producing mines, and oil and gas fields in Canada. Data on advanced critical minerals projects are produced and published annually by Natural Resources Canada, in collaboration with provinces and territories. Data are compiled from a variety of public sources. Natural Resources Canada does not assume responsibility for errors or omissions. Please report any recommended revisions.

Principal Mineral Areas, Producing Mines, and Oil and Gas Fields (900A)
This dataset is produced and published annually by Natural Resources Canada. It contains a variety of statistics on Canada’s mineral production, and provides the geographic locations of significant metallic, nonmetallic and coal mines, oil sands mines, selected metallurgical works, helium facilities, and oil and gas fields for the provinces and territories of Canada.Related product:- **[Top 100 Exploration Projects](https://open.canada.ca/data/en/dataset/b64179f3-ea0f-4abb-9cc5-85432fc958a0)**
Pan-Canadian predictive model of Carbonatite-hosted REE and Nb deposits
A predictive model for Canadian carbonatite-hosted REE ± Nb deposits is presented herein. This model was developed by integrating diverse data layers derived from geophysical, geochronological, and geological sources. These layers represent the key components of carbonatite-hosted REE ± Nb mineral systems, including the source, transport mechanisms, geological traps, and preservation processes. Deep learning algorithms were employed to integrate these layers into a comprehensive predictive framework. Historical trace metals concentrations from sediment samples and suspended particulate matter (SPM) samples, 1976 - 1987
This dataset is a compilation of numerous data files recovered as part of a data request in 2024 from a historical archive of DFO research data. Sediment and Suspended Particulate Matter (SPM) samples were collected over more than a decade as part of Dr. Douglas Loring’s research program while working at the Bedford Institute of Oceanography (BIO). Samples were collected as part of individual and collaborative research projects, and links to the relevant primary science publications and reports are included in the data in an effort to provide context to the data, as well as describe the field and laboratory techniques used to generate the attached data.
