TANTALIS - Crown Land Revenue Sharing Agreements
TA_CROWN_REV_SHARE_AGRMNTS_SVW contains the spatial representation (polygon) of active and applied for Crown Land Revenue Sharing Agreements. A Revenue Sharing Agreement is made between the crown and one or more parties to share revenue. The view was created to provide a simplified presentation of this single tenure type from the disposition information in the Tantalis operational system. The same content could be derived from the TA_CROWN_TENURES_SVW by filtering to this tenure type only. It’s possible that this dataset may contain few or no records, depending on the current number of active tenures or applications.
Town
The Town dataset is comprised of all the polygons that represent Towns in Alberta. Town is a municipality type defined under the authority of the Municipal Government Act. The formation of a Town can occur if a majority of buildings are on parcels of land smaller than 1850 square metres and there is a population of 1000 or more.
TANTALIS - Land Districts
TA_LAND_DISTRICTS_SVW contains the spatial representation (polygon) of the current extent of the administrative areas defined under Section 2 of the Land Act as Land Districts. The was created to provide a simplified view of this data from the administrative boundaries information in the Tantalis operational system. These administrative regions are defined under Section 2 of the Land Act for the purpose of managing and uniquely identifying cadastral survey parcels
Subdivision Applications - Historical
The Land Planning Branch manages subdivision requests anywhere in Yukon, other than Whitehorse or Dawson. In order to divide or reconfigure any privately titled lot a subdivision approval is required. In the creation of new parcels from Yukon land, a subdivision application is made by Land Client Services, Land Management Branch on behalf of the applicant.Subdivision applications are typically decided upon within a 90 day timeline. Notification is often provided to property owners in the application area as well as publicly in the form of newspapers. Decisions for approval include conditions which must be followed to receive survey plan approval. Itcha Ilgachuz Caribou Habitat Area 5-086 Quadrants
The Itcha Ilgachuz Caribou Habitat Area (IICHA) and associated quadrants were developed as a part of the 2002 Northern Caribou Strategy, with revisions in 2011. The boundary is based on caribou telemetry to 2011, and is used to form the outer boundary of the quadrants that are used to help determine the rate of cut within WHA 5-086.
