Mineral Deposits by Zone
The purpose of this dataset is to provide quantitative analysis on specific commodities, offering insights into:- The total amount of specific commodities, e.g., Gold, in Yukon's hard rock deposits. - The highest-grade and largest deposits in Yukon. - The distribution of mineral resources within multiple zones in a deposit. - Source reports, direct links, and confidence levels for each mineral resource statement. - Differentiation between 43-101, JORC, and historical estimates. The resources in this dataset have been summarized and averaged to show the total geologic resource for a property or zone. For the exact numbers, please refer to the NI 43-101 compliant resource statement.+-----------------------------------+-----------------------------------+| Field\ | Description\ || \ | \ |+-----------------------------------+-----------------------------------+| Property\ | Property for which deposit || \ | resource was calculated.\ || | \ |+-----------------------------------+-----------------------------------+| Zone\ | Zone for which deposit resource || \ | was calculated.\ || | \ |+-----------------------------------+-----------------------------------+| 43-101 Compliant\ | If the resource calculation is NI || \ | 43-101 compliant, JORC compliant, || | or historic.\ || | \ |+-----------------------------------+-----------------------------------+| Commodities\ | The types of commodities || \ | contained in the resource || | calculation, order is || | alphabetic.\ || | \ |+-----------------------------------+-----------------------------------+| Categories\ | The resource categories used to || \ | create the calculation. Top 100 Exploration Projects
This dataset provides information related to the top-spending off-mine-site exploration and deposit appraisal projects in Canada for the given reference year. The dataset is maintained by the Lands and Minerals Sector, Natural Resources Canada, and forms the basis for the annual Map of Top 100 Exploration and Deposit Appraisal Projects in Canada.Related product:- **[Principal Mineral Areas, Producing Mines, and Oil and Gas Fields (900A)](https://open.canada.ca/data/en/dataset/000183ed-8864-42f0-ae43-c4313a860720)**
Surface deposit
__The link: *Access the data directory* is available in the section*Dataset Description Sheets; Additional Information*__.**Surface deposit** is the layer of loose material that covers rock. The deposit may have been established during the retreat of the glacier at the end of the last glaciation or by other processes associated with erosion and sedimentation. The nature of the loose deposit is evaluated based on the shape of the land, its position on the slope, the texture of the soil, or other indicators. Surface deposit maps make it possible to distinguish the main categories of surface deposits and to know their nature, thickness and distribution on Quebec territory. Based on the interpretation of aerial photographs at a scale of 1/40,000 and control points in the field as part of the ecoforest inventory of southern Quebec, this mapping contributes in particular to the development of ecological forest products.__ ⚠️ Notes: __+ This map covers almost the entire territory of Quebec south of the 52nd parallel. It is distributed by **map sheet at a scale of 1/50,000.** Surface deposits have a minimum area of 4 ha.**This third party metadata element was translated using an automated translation tool (Amazon Translate).**
Mineral Deposits Index
This data set represents the digital information on all known mineral occurrences in the Province of Saskatchewan. This data shows information on all known mineral occurrences in Saskatchewan. Additional occurrences are added as new public domain geoscience information is analyzed. The data was created as a file geodatabase feature class and output for public distribution. Current definitions for the mineral deposit categories used in the Saskatchewan Mineral Deposit Index can be found by searching “Mineral Deposit Category Definition Tables” on the Publications Saskatchewan website. To view or download more datasets from the Saskatchewan Geological Survey, please visit our GeoHub page (https://er-saskatchewan.hub.arcgis.com/pages/saskatchewan-geological-survey) or our Saskatchewan Mining and Petroleum GeoAtlas (https://gisappl.saskatchewan.ca/geoatlas). **Please Note – All published Saskatchewan Geological Survey datasets, including those available through the Saskatchewan Mining and Petroleum GeoAtlas, are sourced from the Enterprise GIS Data Warehouse. They are therefore identical and share the same refresh schedule.
Uranium Deposit Footprints
This dataset shows the location of the distribution of uranium deposits for the Province of Saskatchewan. This dataset shows the uranium deposits for the Province of Saskatchewan and is designed for the Resource Map of Saskatchewan. Mapping in support of the dataset includes years of field observations which were then compiled and integrated into this dataset. The data was created as a file geodatabase feature class and output for public distribution. **Please Note – All published Saskatchewan Geological Survey datasets, including those available through the Saskatchewan Mining and Petroleum GeoAtlas, are sourced from the Enterprise GIS Data Warehouse.
