Mental Health and Substance Use Health Services
The HealthLink BC Mental Health and Substance Use (MHSU) data set includes the following: Programs that offer early intervention, transitional care or other services that supplement and facilitate primary and adjunctive therapies; which offer community mental health education programs; or which link people who are in need of treatment with appropriate providers. Programs that provide preventive, diagnostic and treatment services in a variety of community and hospital-based settings to help people achieve, maintain and enhance a state of emotional well-being, personal empowerment and the skills to cope with everyday demands without excessive stress or reliance on alcohol or other drugs. Treatment may include emotional support, introspection and problem-solving assistance using a variety of modalities and approaches, and medication, as needed, for individuals who have a substance use disorder involving alcohol and/or other drugs or for people who range from experiencing difficult life transitions or problems in coping with daily living to those with severe, chronic mental illnesses that seriously impact their lives. Multidisciplinary programs, often offered on an inpatient basis with post-discharge outpatient therapy, that provide comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services for individuals who have anorexia nervosa, binge-eating disorder, bulimia or a related eating disorder. Treatment depends on the specific type of eating disorder involved but typically involves psychotherapy, nutrition education, family counseling, medication and hospitalization, if required, to stabilize the patient's health. Results of the Intervention Plan for Drinking Water, Sewer and Road Network Assets (2023-2027)
This data set represents the interventions determined by the City of Montreal's Intervention Plan for the period 2023-2027. This planning, according to a division into unified sections (TU), includes both the infrastructure deficit and the maintenance needs during the period in question. The Intervention Plan is the result of a macroscopic analysis of physical and state data. Moreover, the capacity of the City and its boroughs to carry out is not unlimited; it is often determined by a combination of factors, including the availability of budgets, coordination needs, planning capacity as well as the capacity of the market to carry out this work. Consideration should also be given to the social and economic impacts of infrastructure work. These are all factors that may justify the delay of several interventions to later years.Data is available in the following documents:- The summary table shows the classes of integrated interventions for the unified sections. For each section, a recommendation on the work is indicated if necessary. These tables help infrastructure managers to identify priority segments and sections. - The digital file presents the results of the Intervention Plan by segment unified in shapefile and geojson. It integrates the linear geometric elements that support the management data of all the assets analyzed in the intervention plan. The division of the unified section is usually done at roadway intersections and easement limits. - The map of integrated interventions presents opportunities for coordinating interventions between the three drinking water, sewage and road networks. - The data dictionary detailing the metadata of geospatial digital filesFor more information on water management in Montreal, consult [the City of Montreal's website] (https://montreal.ca/unites/service-de-leau).**This third party metadata element was translated using an automated translation tool (Amazon Translate).**

Proximity measures database
Over the last year, Statistics Canada (StatCan) and Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) have collaborated on the implementation of a set of proximity measures to services and amenities. CMHC funded this collaboration to generate data and analytical work in support of the National Housing Strategy. The result of this collaboration is the first nation-wide Proximity Measures Database (PMD). This database is now available as an early release to meet urgent information needs of departments and other stakeholders across Canada who are dealing with the COVID-19 crisis. The current situation involving COVID-19 emphasizes the importance of having timely and accessible information available to the public at all levels of government. Proximity measures developed for this project are relevant to the current situation by providing a wealth of information (at the granular level) in terms of proximity to health facilities, pharmacies and other essential services/amenities that can be used to make rapid informed decisions at different geographical levels.WARNING: This map contains detailed data which makes it heavy to load. To improve loading time, please uncheck the "Proximity measures" group from legend at loading, then load only the desired thematic.
