Jurisdictional boundaries for the Ministry of Emergency Management and Climate Readiness (EMCR). This dataset represents the regional operational boundaries for the former Provincial Emergency Program (PEP).

Most of these events involved community evacuations, significant structural loss and/or involvement of a Ministry of Natural Resources (MNR) Emergency Response Officer. Events include those assigned to MNR by an Order-In-Council under the Emergency Management and Civil Protection Act as well as events where MNR provided requested emergency response assistance. These events fall into one of ten type categories: * dam failure * drought /low water * erosion * flood * forest fire * soil and bedrock instability * Petroleum Resource Center event * EMO requested assistance * continuity of operations event * other requested assistance This product requires the use of geographic information system (GIS) software.

During a declared emergency event, this dataset will include the facilities that provide Emergency Social Service assistance.

The locations of wells that have been drilled for oil production, gas or salt resources or for underground storage of hydrocarbons. This data can be used for land use and resource management, emergency management, as well as compliance and enforcement in the petroleum industry. The Data is collected on an on-going basis and maintained in the Ontario Petroleum Data System (OPDS).

DEPRECATED: During a declared emergency event, this dataset will include the communities affected by Evacuation Order Orders and Alerts, which represents the populated communities and First Nations in the province, and their current evacuation status.

The Fire Response Boundary layer defines the geographic area for the primary providers of response services. This layer is used by the ECRF (Emergency Call Routing Function) to perform a geographic query to determine which Emergency Service Providers are responsible for providing service to a location in the event a selective transfer is desired, to direct an Emergency Incident Data Document to a secondary PSAP (Public Safety Answering Point) for dispatch, or to display the responsible agencies at the PSAP. Facilities used by the Ministry of Natural Resources' Aviation Forest Fire and Emergency Services (AFFES) branch. This dataset is used to support aviation forest fire and AFFES business operations.

Area Based Management Plans (ABMP) are designated areas for the purposes of environmental protection. It must consider the impact of point and non-point source of waste, cumulative impact of the wastes, environmental management objectives and outcomes for the designated area, and ongoing monitoring and reporting.

This dataset contains boundaries of Management Areas, which are geographic areas of managerial responsibility within Parks Operations Division, Alberta Environment and Protected Areas. Management Areas are groupings of Districts, which are geographic areas of operational responsibility within Parks Operations Division. Parks Operations Division Districts nest within Management Areas, which in turn nest within Regions. These boundaries are administrative/operational in nature, and are subject to change.
