Multi Year Investment Strategy
This is the 5 year investment plan for Manitoba Highway and Infrastructure Capital Projects. This dataset will show all the proposed infrastructure projects for the next 5 years. This Feature layer is similar to the "Manitoba Capital Plans Project Status" and will be updated once a year. This dataset contains points showing the locations of the capital projects such as asphalt surface treatment, grading, bituminous rehabilitation, concrete reconstruction, culvert jacking, intersection improvement, structures improvement, traffic signal improvements, and traffic safety improvements. This dataset was created by digitizing high-resolution imagery of Manitoba road network, bridge sites, and culvert locations. The details of the capital projects are available as attributes of the dataset.Fields included (Alias (Field Name): Field description.)Hwy (Hwy): The highway number where the project is located. Location Description (Location_Description): A detailed description of the project location. Project Distance in km (km): The physical length of the project Project Type (Project_Type): A particular category assigned to the project based on the nature of work. Investment Category : (Investment_Category): Category of future investment for the project. (Ex: Renewal, Economic Development, Connectivity and Innovation, Climate Resiliency) Municipality Name (MUNI_NAME): The name of the municipality where the project is located. Department Program (Department_Program): The name of the MI department responsible for the project. This dataset is used in Manitoba Infrastructure Projects an interactive map that shows Manitoba infrastructure's new, approved, and continuing capital project locations.
Manitoba Capital Plans Project Status
This dataset contains points showing the locations of the Manitoba Infrastructure's (MI) approved, new, and continuing capital projects for the year 2021/2022. Examples of MI's capital projects are asphalt surface treatment, grading, bituminous rehabilitation, concrete reconstruction, culvert jacking, intersection improvement, structures improvement, traffic signal improvements, and traffic safety improvements. The details of the capital projects are available as attributes of the dataset. Fields included ( Alias (Field Name): Field description.) ObjectID (OBJECTID): Sequential unique whole numbers that are automatically generated Project # (Project__): A unique ID assigned to a project by MI Capital Project Team. Hwy (Hwy): The highway number where the project is located. Location Description (Location_Description): A detailed description of the project location. Project Distance in km (km): The physical length of the project Project Type (Project_Type): A particular category assigned to the project based on the nature of work. Total Project Status (Total_Project_Status): Current total status of the project (e.g. new, continue, etc.) Construction Project Status (Construction_Project_Status): Current phase of project (e.g. construction phase, engineering design phase, etc.) Anticipated Construction Start Date (Anticipated_Construction_Start_): The expected construction start date for the project. Anticipated Construction Complete Date (Anticipated_Construction_Comple): The expected construction completion date for the project. Municipality Name (MUNI_NAME): The name of the municipality where the project is located. Department Program (Department_Program): The name of the MI department responsible for the project. This dataset is used in Manitoba Infrastructure Projects an interactive map that shows Manitoba infrastructure's new, approved, and continuing capital project locations.
Major Projects Inventory (Economic) - Points
The Major Projects Inventory (MPI), which is published quarterly, lists all major projects that are proposed, planned or underway in British Columbia. These are projects with a capital cost of at least $20 million each within the Lower Mainland and projects valued at $15 million or more in the rest of B.C. This is a point layer. Active Commercial Shipping Anchorages in Pacific Canada
This is a point layer of the names and locations of the actively used commercial shipping anchorages in British Columbia. These point locations were manually compiled from available port guides and documents. The objective of this dataset is to provide a consolidated file containing all active commercial shipping anchorage locations as there has been a lack of consistency between different sources due to variations in names and locations in different datasets and historical changes to anchorage locations.
Canadian Public Transit Systems
Geospatial data for public transit agencies in Canada, with information on stop locations, route locations, route types, level of service, wheel chair access, bike access, and more.
Astrobleme
This dataset represents the locations of postulated astroblemes (impact structures) in the Province of Saskatchewan Canada. This dataset represents the locations of postulated astroblemes (meteorite impact structures) in the Province of Saskatchewan Canada. This dataset was compiled through bedrock geology mapping projects, noting unique impact areas. The data was created as a file geodatabase feature class and made available for public distribution.**Please Note – All published Saskatchewan Geological Survey datasets, including those available through the Saskatchewan Mining and Petroleum GeoAtlas, are sourced from the Enterprise GIS Data Warehouse. They are therefore identical and share the same refresh schedule.
Terrain Mapping (TER) Project Boundaries
Terrain Mapping (TER) project boundaries contains (study areas) and attributes describing each project (project level metadata), plus links to the locations of other data associated with the project (e.g., reports, polygon datasets, plotfiles, legends) for terrain inventory, bioterrain and terrain stability mapping projects. TER divides the landscape into units according to surficial materials, landforms and geomorphological processes using the Terrain Classification System for British Columbia. This layer is derived from the STE_TEI_PROJECT_BOUNDARIES_SP layer by filtering on the PROJECT_TYPE attribute. Project types include: TEM, TEMNSS, TEMPRE, TEMSEI, TEMSET, TEMTSM, TSM, TSMREC, TSMDET, TIM, TBS, TBT, TIMSOI, TEMWHR, TEMSDM, TEMPRW, NEMPRW, and TEMSEW. Current version: v11 (published on 2024-10-03) Previous versions: v10 (published on 2023-11-14), v9 (published on 2023-03-01), v8 (published on 2016-09-01)
Major Projects Inventory
Natural Resources Canada’s Major Projects Inventory published annually, provides a snapshot of major natural resource projects in Canada that are either currently under construction or are planned within the next 10 years. The inventory includes major projects that increase, extend or improve natural resource production in Canada, including new extraction projects, infrastructure projects, major processing facilities and large expansion projects. In addition, the inventory includes information on the value, timing and geographic location of projects. To be included in the inventory, projects in the energy and mining sectors must meet a minimum capital worth threshold of $50 million and electricity and forest sector projects must meet a threshold of $20 million. Also included in the inventory are clean energy and clean technology projects, which must meet a minimum capital worth threshold of $10 million.DISCLAIMER: Data is sourced from federal, provincial, and territorial databases, publicly accessible websites, and other sources, including CANOILS. Data and maps are for illustrative purposes only. Users understand that, although all efforts have been made to accurately and exhaustively compile, locate and classify projects, the authors do not guarantee the accuracy and/or the comprehensiveness of the data and assume no responsibility for errors or omissions. The routes of the proposed transmission lines and pipelines are approximations, often using only start and end points. In support of this initiative, proponents and partners are encouraged to contact Natural Resources Canada should they identify any significant errors or omissions.

CDC Species of Conservation Concern - Restricted
Each hexagon in this layer serves as a flag to indicate there is one or more mapped locations of a species that is subject to persecution or harm within the hexagon boundaries. Access to the precise locations are restricted, unless there is a demonstrable business need for the information. Users are asked to contact the Yukon Conservation Data Centre ( [yukoncdc@yukon.ca](mailto:yukoncdc@yukon.ca) ) to request access to precise locations and details on the species involved.Distributed from [GeoYukon](https://yukon.ca/geoyukon) by the [Government of Yukon](https://yukon.ca/) .
