REPS Forecasted Accumulated Precipitation - 72 hrs
This polygon layer represents accumulated precipitation forecasts from the Regional Ensemble Prediction System (REPS), a regional probabilistic model. It delivers ensemble‑based, short‑range precipitation forecasts—typically a 72‑hour accumulation—that aid in assessing the risk and spatial distribution of rainfall events, supporting hydrological analysis, flood forecasting, and water resource management. This polygon layer is produced by processing REPS GRIB2 files. The workflow involves extracting the precipitation field, converting it to a TIF raster, and then applying resampling, smoothing, and classification to create polygon features. These features represent forecasted rainfall totals over a 72‑hour period and are updated with each model run to maintain current predictive information. Source: Environment & Climate Change Canada
RESULTS - Planting
Planting activities reported on openings into RESULTS. More than one planting activitiy may occur within an opening. Planting activiites may also overlap. Planting attribute reporting is mandatory requirement while planting maps are optional. Planting reports includes species and seedlot information. This is a part of Silviculture and Land Status dataset, which includes tracking achievement of silviculture obligations on Crown land
Aggregate Inspector Jurisdiction
This spatial dataset represents the boundaries of the areas of responsibility for aggregate inspectors working on behalf of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry. In southern Ontario, inspectors may use various criteria to determine their area of responsibility, including: * geographic township boundaries * the number of licences and permits in a given area * geographic size In northern Ontario, areas of responsibility generally follow MNRF district boundaries. Use our interactive [Pits and Quarries map](https://www.ontario.ca/page/find-pits-and-quarries) to learn more about active aggregate sites and designated areas.
Education - Authorities District
This is an approximated visualization of the School Authority boundary information that is currently available on the Alberta Education public website (https://education.alberta.ca/boundary-maps/school-jurisdiction-maps/everyone/view-and-print-maps). The information has been informed by Ministerial Orders and is presented in a mapping format.
OIC - Placer Mining Act
Orders in Council (OIC) are regulations or legislative orders in relation to and authorized by an existing Act. This table identifies Yukon lands withdrawn from disposal, usually by Territorial Order in Council. In Corporate Spatial Warehouse (CSW) data is split out into spatial views by Act under which orders are authorized. The tables are comprehensive and include both active and expired orders. Spatial views show only the active data.In this table and spatial views, Regulations by Order in Council (OIC) are spatially represented to provide clarity regarding Yukon lands withdrawn from disposal. Spatial data is viewed by the Act under which the order is authorized. Not all orders are for withdrawal, different levels of withdrawal are common and not detailed in GIS attributes. It is important to read OIC documents for specific details ( [https://legislation.yukon.ca/legislation/page_a.html](https://legislation.yukon.ca:443/legislation/page_a.html) ).Distributed from [GeoYukon](https://yukon.ca/geoyukon) by the [Government of Yukon](https://yukon.ca/maps) . TANTALIS - Integrated Survey Areas
An Integrated Survey Area is an administrative area within which a British Columbia Land Surveyor is required to integrate cadastral surveys with a network of control monuments under the Integrated Survey Area. Tantalis is an information system designed specifically for the needs of the complex workings of Crown Land Registry and to provide automated support for all aspects of Crown land administration. It was designed to provide a foundation for integrating spatial data associated with mapping of survey plans and administrative boundaries with attribute data associated with legal documents and administrative records. The system records and tracks the sale, survey, license, access, return, and restriction of Crown land in British Columbia. This new system introduced the capacity for further applications, to revolutionize access and processing of Crown land information
Oil and Gas Facility Location Applications
Facilities are an oil and gas activity, defined in the Energy Resources Activities Act as a system of vessels, piping, valves, tanks and other equipment used to gather, process, measure, store or dispose of petroleum, natural gas, water or a substance referred to in paragraph (d) or (e) of the definition of pipeline. This dataset contains point features for proposed applications collected through the BC Energy Regulator's Application Management System (AMS). This dataset is updated nightly.
Automated Snow Weather Station Locations
Locations of automated snow weather stations, active and inactive. Automated snow weather stations are components of the BC snow survey network.
