FRI: Forest stands
Forest stands (FSTAND) is a vector delineation of relatively homogeneous forest stands or naturally non-forested areas as polygons with a 0.5 ha minimum area and a 2.0 ha median area.Download: Here The Saskatchewan Ministry of Environment, Forest Service Branch, has developed a forest resource inventory (FRI) which meets a variety of strategic and operational planning information needs for the boreal plains. Such needs include information on the general land cover, terrain, and growing stock (height, diameter, basal area, timber volume and stem density) within the provincial forest and adjacent forest fringe. This inventory provides spatially explicit information as 10 m or 20 m raster grids and as vectors polygons for relatively homogeneous forest stands or naturally non-forested areas with a 0.5 ha minimum area and a 2.0 ha median area. Forest stands (FSTAND) is a vector delineation of relatively homogeneous forest stands or naturally non-forested areas as polygon with a 0.5 ha minimum area and a 2.0 ha median area. For more information, see the Forest Inventory Standard of the Saskatchewan Environmental Code, Forest Inventory Chapter.
Crown Game Preserves
Crown Game Preserves were established to prohibit or regulate the hunting and trapping of wildlife in specific areas to restore local populations.
Surficial Geological Units, Groundwater Geoscience Program
Surficial geologic units are unconsolidated materials overlying bedrock. The dataset represents a general description of the stratigraphy and geology, including geologic unit thickness, morphology, age and rank. It features a list of the geologic unit names and types of sediment in the hydrogeological unit. While the preferred format to deliver this data is by using a shapefile and its linked attributes, this dataset can be delivered also by providing link to external data which should have at least the same properties or also by joining a georeferenced image of the map.
MetNotes
MetNotes are a geo- and time-referenced, free form polygon product issued by MSC that complement today's location-based dissemination systems. The concise text of a MetNote (similar to a Tweet) is consistent with communication today where people are seeking information at a glance. Meteorologists will issue a MetNote to add contextual and/or impact information to complement the public forecast that is valid over a specific area, for a specific time range.
Groundwater Composition, Groundwater Geoscience Program
Water composition is defined by measuring the amounts of its various constituents; these are often expressed as milligrams of substance per litre of water (mg/L). Sampling methods vary according to the types of analysis. Dataset point: The dataset represents a general description of the sample, including name, ID, type of analysis and lab. It includes numbers describing the results of the analysis and physical properties of groundwater. Time series: The dataset represents a general description of the sample, including name, ID, type of analysis and lab. It includes series of numbers describing the results of the analysis and physical properties of groundwater with associated date. Dynamic values over time at the same sites provides temporal variation data of groundwater composition.
TANTALIS - Crown Land Inventory
TA_CROWN_INVENTORY_SVW contains the spatial representation (polygon) of active and applied for Crown Land Inventory Dispositions. Inventories are lands identified for review to determine the availability to market. The view was created to provide a simplified presentation of this single tenure type from the disposition information in the Tantalis operational system. The same content could be derived from the TA_CROWN_TENURES_SVW by filtering to this tenure type only
Crown grants - 50k
In and around the early 1900s, the Government of Canada used Crown grants to issue interests in land.If a Crown grant includes rights to mines and minerals, including quartz, in the location of the grant, quartz claims cannot be staked over the location of that Crown grant. If the Crown grant included both placer and quartz rights then neither type of claim can be staked over the Crown grant. This data represents the location of crown grants in the Yukon.Distributed from [GeoYukon](https://yukon.ca/geoyukon) by the [Government of Yukon](https://yukon.ca/maps) . Greenbelt hamlets
Hamlets are smaller settlement areas identified in municipal official plans, generally without municipal water and sewer servicing. For precise boundaries and locations of hamlets, the appropriate municipality should be consulted.
FADM - Provincial Forest Addition
The spatial representation for a Forest Addition, which is any Forest land that is to be designated by the Lieutenant Governor, into an established forest, to be managed and used for the social and economic benefit of the Province
