Feature layer of the Manitoba provincial boundary.A feature layer of Manitoba's provincial boundaries:Manitoba/Ontario boundary, Manitoba/Saskatchewan boundary, Manitoba/Nunavut boundary, International boundary. Excluding the International Boundary, the graphical data was computed from original boundary survey measurements published in respective official boundary commission reports using least squares adjustment software "Manor". The adjustments were constrained to known NAD83 [nmip94 adj.] federal/provincial boundary marker positions. For the International Boundary, the graphics were created by converting the official published NAD27 marker positions for the boundary into NAD83 using datum conversion software NTv2 and interconnecting the plotted marker positions with straight lines using CARIS map software. The purpose is to provide end users with a digital map of Manitoba's boundaries.  This data layer is suitable for most medium and small scale digital map applications as well as GIS georeferencing in general. This Manitoba provincial boundary was originally published on January 12, 2004. It was uploaded to Manitoba Maps as a feature layer on December 15, 2016. Use Constraints: The Hudson Bay shoreline for this product was taken from 1:500,000 scale digital mapping and is intended for generalized small scale mapping of this portion of the provincial boundary. Estimated accuracy if plus or minus 125m. Represents the gross area boundary within which Saskatchewan Crown resource lands are designated as provincial forests.For the entire Canwood, Nisbet, Fort a la Corne, Torch River, and Porcupine Provincial Forests, and the southern portion of the Northern Provincial Forest, boundaries follow the textual descriptions found in The Forest Resources Management Regulations, F-19.1 Reg 1, amended June 2020. For the northern, eastern and western portions of the Northern Provincial Forest, boundaries were sourced from the SaskGIS Provincial Boundary data set (ADMINISTRATIVE.provincial_boundary) produced by Information Services Corporation. This data set depicts the provincial boundary of the province of Saskatchewan as reflected in the respective jurisdictional boundary acts, and is kept current on a monthly basis. The version used here has an effective date of 31 May 2020. Crown resource lands contained within these boundaries are designated as provincial forest. The Treaty Boundary dataset is comprised of all the polygons that represent the historical treaty lands of Canada negotiated by First Nations over the years through treaty-making between 1867 - 1999. The approximate boundaries illustrate the traditional territories described in First Nations Statements of Intent to negotiate treaties which have been submitted to, and accepted.

Traditional territories of Yukon first nations and settlement areas of Inuvialuit and Tetlit Gwich'in within the Yukon Territory. A Traditional Territory is an area of the Yukon that the people of a First Nation have traditionally used. A First Nation's Settlement Lands fall inside the boundaries of its Traditional Territory. A First Nation does not own its Traditional Territory, but the First Nation and its benificiaries have a number of rights within their Traditional Territory, both on and off of Settlement Land. This data was built using the 1:250,000 National Topographic Data Base (NTDB) data as the base and the 1:500,000 hardcopy traditional territory maps as signed by individual First Nation chiefs on November 8, 1988 for the line work.The White River First Nation asserted traditional territory boundary in this dataset was updated on November 7, 2024.The Acho Dene Koe First Nation asserted traditional territory boundary in this dataset was updated on June 16, 2025.

The BORHOLES layer represents the compilation of available data from various boreholes throughout the Yukon and near the Yukon border. This data set includes oil and gas exploration wells, mineral exploration boreholes, water supply wells and environmental monitoring well. The data points include information on the borehole location, purpose, status, depth, temperature data, water flow and chemistry data where available along with references where further detailed information may be available.
