Manitoba Provincial Boundary
Feature layer of the Manitoba provincial boundary.A feature layer of Manitoba's provincial boundaries:Manitoba/Ontario boundary, Manitoba/Saskatchewan boundary, Manitoba/Nunavut boundary, International boundary. Excluding the International Boundary, the graphical data was computed from original boundary survey measurements published in respective official boundary commission reports using least squares adjustment software "Manor". The adjustments were constrained to known NAD83 [nmip94 adj.] federal/provincial boundary marker positions. For the International Boundary, the graphics were created by converting the official published NAD27 marker positions for the boundary into NAD83 using datum conversion software NTv2 and interconnecting the plotted marker positions with straight lines using CARIS map software. The purpose is to provide end users with a digital map of Manitoba's boundaries. This data layer is suitable for most medium and small scale digital map applications as well as GIS georeferencing in general. This Manitoba provincial boundary was originally published on January 12, 2004. It was uploaded to Manitoba Maps as a feature layer on December 15, 2016. Use Constraints: The Hudson Bay shoreline for this product was taken from 1:500,000 scale digital mapping and is intended for generalized small scale mapping of this portion of the provincial boundary. Estimated accuracy if plus or minus 125m. Fields Included: FID: Sequential unique whole numbers that are automatically generated, AREA: GIS area in square-metres calculated in the NAD83 Universal Transverse Mercator Zone 14 coordinate system, PERIMETER: GIS perimeter in metres calculated in the NAD83 Universal Transverse Mercator Zone 14 coordinate system, NAME: province name
Seral Stage Assessment Amalgamation Units for the Cariboo Natural Resource Region
This dataset is a combination of landscape unit, biogeoclimatic zone/subzone/variants and Cariboo Chilcotin Land Use Plan (CCLUP) leading group type (PineGroup or FirGroup) used to roll up seral stage assessments in the Cariboo Natural Resource Region. Refer to the **Cariboo Regional Biodiversity Conservation Strategy Update Note #2: Amalgamation of Small NDT-BEC Units in Relation to Assessment of Seral Objectives and Old Growth Management Area Planning** and **Cariboo Regional Biodiversity Conservation Strategy Update Note #3: Definition of the Fir Group and Pine Group for Purposes of Seral Stage Assessments within NDT 4 of the Cariboo-Chilcotin** (see below under "Related Links") for more information on how seral stage assessment amalgamation units are derived.

Manitoba Regional Health Authorities
RHAs/Health Regions are geographic areas which are used to define populations and catchment areas for the administration and delivery of health services. This file provides RHA boundaries for cartographic and analytical purposes.Within Manitoba there are five Regional Health Authorities (or "RHAs") responsible for the delivery of health services in five specific areas of the province described in the legislation as "health regions." (In practice, the terms "health region" and "RHA" are often used interchangeably to describe these geographic areas.). This file contains boundaries for the health regions for each Regional Health Authority in Manitoba. Fields included (Alias (Field Name): Field description.) RHA Code (RHACODE): Two-digit numeric code which uniquely identifies a specific legislatively defined RHA RHA Name (RHAName): This field contains a simple name for each RHA, suitable for use as a label, in English. Nom de l'office régionale de la santé (RHANomFr): This field contains a simple name for each RHA, suitable for use as a label, in French. RHA Area - total (sq km) (RHAArea): The calculated geodesic area, in square kilometres, of the area within a given RHA's boundaries. RHA Area - excludes major lakes (sq km) (LandArea): The calculated geodesic area, in square kilometres, of the area within a given RHA's boundaries, with the area of major lakes excluded. For population density calculations, we recommend the use of this area value. The following major lakes have been excluded: Lake Winnipeg, Lake Manitoba, Lake Winnipegosis, and Cedar Lake.

Full rupture of the Cascadia interface fault, the fault defining the boundary between the North American and Pacific Ocean plates. This magnitude 9.0 event, often referred to as ‘The Big One’, affects most communities in southwestern British Columbia.
Groundwater-Surface Water Model: Carcajou Watershed
In permafrost dominated regions, a gap persists in our understanding of water resources, the influence of groundwater, and the impact of climate change at the regional scale. Regional scale modelling can help to advance the understanding of these impacts by integrating with regional climate models. For regional modelling to be tenable, ongoing development of modelling methods and conceptualizations is required. By developing a fully integrated numerical groundwater-surface water climate model using HydroGeoSphere (HGS) (Aquanty 2021) for a gauged basin within the discontinuous permafrost zone, this dataset allows the verification of existing numerical methods and the testing of various conceptualizations of integrated groundwater-surface water flow in permafrost regions at the regional scale. This work informs future modelling and forecasting of regional water resources in permafrost regimes.
First Nation Traditional Territories - 1M
::: (style="text-align:Left;")Traditional territories of Yukon first nations and settlement areas of Inuvialuit and Tetlit Gwich'in within the Yukon Territory. This data was built using the 1:1,000,000 Digital Chart of the World (DCW) data as the base and the 1:500,000 hardcopy traditional territory maps as signed by individual First Nation chiefs on November 8, 1988 for the line work.The White River First Nation asserted traditional territory boundary in this dataset was updated on November 7, 2024.The Acho Dene Koe First Nation asserted traditional territory boundary in this dataset was updated on June 16, 2025.:::
