Mineral Deposits Index
This data set represents the digital information on all known mineral occurrences in the Province of Saskatchewan. This data shows information on all known mineral occurrences in Saskatchewan. Additional occurrences are added as new public domain geoscience information is analyzed. The data was created as a file geodatabase feature class and output for public distribution. Current definitions for the mineral deposit categories used in the Saskatchewan Mineral Deposit Index can be found by searching “Mineral Deposit Category Definition Tables” on the Publications Saskatchewan website. To view or download more datasets from the Saskatchewan Geological Survey, please visit our GeoHub page (https://er-saskatchewan.hub.arcgis.com/pages/saskatchewan-geological-survey) or our Saskatchewan Mining and Petroleum GeoAtlas (https://gisappl.saskatchewan.ca/geoatlas). **Please Note – All published Saskatchewan Geological Survey datasets, including those available through the Saskatchewan Mining and Petroleum GeoAtlas, are sourced from the Enterprise GIS Data Warehouse. They are therefore identical and share the same refresh schedule.
Granular Aggregate
This layer contains polygon features that represent granular aggregate deposits in New Brunswick. ‘Granular Aggregate’ is the term used to describe naturally occurring deposits of sand and gravel formed during the last ice-age when glaciers were melting and receding. These important resources, which are used for infrastructure construction and maintenance.

Alberta industrial mineral deposits and occurrences (GIS data, point features)
The AMDO (Alberta Mineral Deposits and Occurrences) application was created by the Minerals and Coal Geoscience Section of the Alberta Geological Survey as a database for mineral deposits in Alberta in the early 1990s. It was originally released as Open File Report OFR 1991-17. Industrial minerals from that data source have been extracted into Microsoft Access, their locations refined or corrected and presented in GIS format.
Uranium Deposit Footprints
This dataset shows the location of the distribution of uranium deposits for the Province of Saskatchewan. This dataset shows the uranium deposits for the Province of Saskatchewan and is designed for the Resource Map of Saskatchewan. Mapping in support of the dataset includes years of field observations which were then compiled and integrated into this dataset. The data was created as a file geodatabase feature class and output for public distribution. **Please Note – All published Saskatchewan Geological Survey datasets, including those available through the Saskatchewan Mining and Petroleum GeoAtlas, are sourced from the Enterprise GIS Data Warehouse. Northern Quebec surface deposit
Deposit is the layer of loose material that covers rock. It may have been established during the retreat of the glacier at the end of the last glaciation or by other processes associated with erosion and sedimentation. The nature of the loose deposit is evaluated based on the shape of the land, its position on the slope, the texture of the soil, or other indicators. Surface deposit maps make it possible to distinguish the main categories of surface deposits, to know their nature, thickness and distribution on Quebec territory. The map of **surface deposits in the North** is a component of an extensive inventory carried out to meet knowledge acquisition needs as part of the economic, social and environmental development project “Plan Nord”. This inventory was carried out between 2010 and 2013. The mapping of surface deposits was carried out using a new approach based on remote sensing techniques. The interpretation was carried out by geomorphologists using RapidEye anaglyph (3D) satellite images with high spatial resolution (5 m). Ground and air control points allowed the validation of the interpreted information.Mapping is available throughout the country north of the 53rd parallel, which represents an area of approximately 680,000 km2. The minimum mapping area is 100 ha. **This third party metadata element was translated using an automated translation tool (Amazon Translate).**

Mineral Deposits by Property
The purpose of this dataset is to provide quantitative analysis on specific commodities, offering insights into:- The total amount of specific commodities, e.g., Gold, in Yukon's hard rock deposits. - The highest-grade and largest deposits in Yukon. - The distribution of mineral resources within multiple zones in a deposit. - Source reports, direct links, and confidence levels for each mineral resource statement. - Differentiation between 43-101, JORC, and historical estimates. The resources in this dataset have been summarized and averaged to show the total geologic resource for a property or zone. For the exact numbers, please refer to the NI 43-101 compliant resource statement.+-----------------------------------+-----------------------------------+| Field\ | Description\ || \ | \ |+-----------------------------------+-----------------------------------+| Property\ | Property for which deposit || \ | resource was calculated.\ || | \ |+-----------------------------------+-----------------------------------+| Zone\ | Zone for which deposit resource || \ | was calculated.\ || | \ |+-----------------------------------+-----------------------------------+| 43-101 Compliant\ | If the resource calculation is NI || \ | 43-101 compliant, JORC compliant, || | or historic.\ || | \ |+-----------------------------------+-----------------------------------+| Commodities\ | The types of commodities || \ | contained in the resource || | calculation, order is || | alphabetic.\ || | \ |+-----------------------------------+-----------------------------------+| Categories\ | The resource categories used to || \ | create the calculation. Predictive model of graphite
This model is derived from geological, geophysical and other forms of geodata. Feature extraction used deep learning. Predictive modelling made use of the deep ensemble method. Displayed is a Pan-Canadian probability map of mineral potential of graphite. This map was generated using known graphite deposits and occurrences and their associated features. Higher probability values highlight areas with an increased probability of graphite mineral systems.
