Moose Conservation Closures 2022
The purpose of this dataset is to give an accurate representation of the boundaries of lands closed to hunting in Manitoba. The purpose of this dataset is to give an accurate representation of the boundaries of lands closed to hunting in Manitoba. These are defined as lands where hunting and trapping are either prohibited, or special restrictions are in place for certain species and areas are defined within the General Hunting Regulation (351/87), Moose Conservation Closure Regulation (122/2011), Hunting Seasons and Bag Limits Regulation (165/91), and Trapping of Wild Animals Regulation (245/90) of The Wildlife Act (C.C.S.M c. W130). Hunting and trapping prohibitions or restrictions are implemented in certain areas to ensure the conservation of species or enhance public safety. Fields included (Alias (Field Name): Field description) FID (OBJECTID): Sequential unique whole numbers that are automatically generated Id (Id): The number assigned to each restricted area (not currently being used) Name (Name): Name given to the restricted area Restrictions (Restrictions): Description of the restriction applied to the restricted area Director of Surveys Plan (D_of_S): Director of Surveys Plan number which pertains to the boundary of the restricted area Regulation (Regulation): The regulation title defined in The Wildlife Act Shape_Area (Shape_Area): Area of the feature in internal units squared Shape_Length (Shape_Length): Length of the feature in internal units
Forest Resources Management Plans - 250k
The purpose of this feature class is to identify the individual annual allowable cut and annual limit areas as referred to in the Forest Resources Act subsection 20(2) and 31(10 of the Forest Resources Regulation). Where there is no approved Forest Resources Management Plan (FRMP) for an area, forest resources harvesting can only be authorized in an amount less than that prescribed by regulation for that area. The Forest Resources Regulation subsection 31(1) establishes the annual limits for harvesting timber resources for areas without an FRMP. These areas are referred to as the Annual Limit Regions in Schedule 1 of the Regulation titled Timber Harvesting Areas. These annual limits are set as the annual allowable cut for each of the areas, until such time as a Forest Resources Management Plan is approved for that area.Distributed from [GeoYukon](https://yukon.ca/geoyukon) by the [Government of Yukon](https://yukon.ca/maps) . TANTALIS - Crown Land Revenue Sharing Agreements
TA_CROWN_REV_SHARE_AGRMNTS_SVW contains the spatial representation (polygon) of active and applied for Crown Land Revenue Sharing Agreements. A Revenue Sharing Agreement is made between the crown and one or more parties to share revenue. The view was created to provide a simplified presentation of this single tenure type from the disposition information in the Tantalis operational system. The same content could be derived from the TA_CROWN_TENURES_SVW by filtering to this tenure type only. It’s possible that this dataset may contain few or no records, depending on the current number of active tenures or applications.
Structural Culverts - 25k
The purpose of this dataset is to provide structural culvert locations along highways . The definition of a Structural Culvert is a culvert with span of 2 metres or greater. Drainage culverts have a diameter less than 2 metres and are not included in this dataset.Distributed from [GeoYukon](https://yukon.ca/geoyukon) by the [Government of Yukon](https://yukon.ca/maps) . Strategic Land and Resource Plans - Current
Contains the boundaries of current British Columbia Strategic Land and Resource Plans (SLRPs). The plans can be accessed [here](https://www2.gov.bc.ca/gov/content/industry/crown-land-water/land-use-planning/regions). SLRPs provide direction for Crown land use through the establishment of broad land use goals, planning zone designations, objectives and strategies. This layer represents an integrated regional consensus-based process, which requires public and First Nations participation to produce a SLRP for review and approval by government. SLRPs establish direction on land and resource use and specify broad resource management objectives and strategies. Historical plan types include SRMPs, LRMPs, RLUPs and coastal plans. Current, non-retired SLRP boundaries are included in this layer, where RETIREMENT_DATE is blank. RETIREMENT_DATE is the field that stores the retirement date. If RETIREMENT_DATE is empty, the feature is the current shape. All SLRP shapes (past/retired and present/current) are in the layer [Strategic Land and Resource Plans - All](https://catalogue.data.gov.bc.ca/dataset/298d1034-c1be-4fd1-ad4b-d00ad5ab4b88). ** Please review the Data Quality section below.**
Islands Trust - Legally Defined Administrative Areas of BC
A legally defined __Islands Trust__ polygon was drawn from metes and bounds descriptions as written in Letters Patent for the Islands Trust in the province of British Columbia. A polygon dataset that includes all of the administrative areas currently in the __Administrative Boundaries Management System (ABMS)__ is available [here](https://catalogue.data.gov.bc.ca/dataset/legally-defined-administrative-areas-of-bc).
