NTS 250K Grid - Digital Baseline Mapping at 1:250,000 (NTS)
Index Grid for NTS 1:250,000 scale maps
Registered Flu and COVID Providers 1
Registered vaccine distribution locations for the Flu and COVID-19 season that will appear on the Vaccine Provider App.
MTA - Coal Grid, Group
Determines the location of Coal Titles within the Province of British Columbia. It is established under the authority of the Petroleum and Natural Gas Grid Regulation. It is defined by a set of UTM coordinates which approximate NAD 27 latitude and longitude positions. Groups are the second coarsest level of the Coal Grid and approximate 1:50,000 NTS map sheets. Integrated water management areas by watershed
Location and identification of the 40 integrated water management zones by watershed in southern Quebec.**This third party metadata element was translated using an automated translation tool (Amazon Translate).**
Benthos monitoring
The objective of benthos monitoring is to know the state of benthic macroinvertebrate communities in rivers according, in particular, to the composition of the substrate and the type of flow. Information on benthic macroinvertebrate samples collected at benthos monitoring stations is classified according to the benthos health index: iSBG for coarse-substrate streams and iSBM for soft-substrate streams. The Benthos Health Index (ISB) is a multimetric index based on benthic macroinvertebrates that assesses the biotic integrity of shallow streams. The benthos monitoring dataset includes a layer of sampling stations sampled between 2003 and 2023 and a layer of drainage areas for each of the types of substrate, either coarse or loose. The drainage area attribute table also provides a compilation of land use by category for the last year available at the time of data production, i.e. the year 2020.**This third party metadata element was translated using an automated translation tool (Amazon Translate).**
St. Lawrence Integrated Management Areas (ZGISL)
Location and identification of the 6 integrated water management zones of the St. Lawrence in southern Quebec.**This third party metadata element was translated using an automated translation tool (Amazon Translate).**
Database of areas at risk of flooding (BDZI)
Data on flood zones include mapping carried out as part of the mapping program of the Canada-Quebec Convention from 1976 to 2001, the Program for the determination of flood ratings from 2001 to 2004 (PDCC), as well as the mapping carried out after that date by the Centre d'expertise du Québec (CEH) and its various partners.**This third party metadata element was translated using an automated translation tool (Amazon Translate).**
Potential wetlands
The 2023 mapping of potential wetlands in Quebec (CMHPQ) 2023, released by the Directorate of Ecological Knowledge (DCE), provides up-to-date information on the potential presence of wetlands for the entire province of Quebec. In particular, version 2023 contains the classification of potentially humid geographical entities according to a selected typology and the assignment of a level of confidence associated with each entity and integrates new data sources. This mapping is an aggregation of different databases produced for other purposes and at different scales. The result of this assembly depends on the precision and accuracy of each of the data sources used. This data must be used while remaining vigilant with regard to their potential and limitations.**This third party metadata element was translated using an automated translation tool (Amazon Translate).**
Contaminated Land Directory (GTC)
The GTC System makes it possible to compile information on land files.contaminated by industrial and commercial activities or by spillsaccidental. This is not an exhaustive inventory, but a compilation of cases brought tothe attention of the Ministry. It also includes information on land that isnow rehabilitated. The thematic layers of contaminated land allowlocate each georeferenced intervention site in the Operations Management Assistance System(SAGO) to which at least one contaminated land sheet is associated.**This third party metadata element was translated using an automated translation tool (Amazon Translate).**
Monitoring of pesticides in surface water
This thematic layer shows the location of pesticide stations in surface water monitored as part of various studies. The data comes from an extraction from the BQMA and, when a report is available on the Department's website, the reader can access it from a link in the information window. The dataset on the monitoring of pesticides in surface water also includes a layer of sampling stations, a layer of polygons presenting the drainage areas of some of the stations and finally, a data table including the compilation of land use by year for each of these drainage areas. The drainage areas and the land use table are linked to the sampling stations based on the BQMA station number.**This third party metadata element was translated using an automated translation tool (Amazon Translate).**
