This interactive map is a collaborative project by Natural Resources Canada and the federal, provincial and territorial members of the Geographical Names Board of Canada. The map illustrates a sample of close to 500 places in Canada named for women from a range of backgrounds who have been remembered for many different reasons. Each point on the map is categorized by a theme, and contains a short description of the person behind that place name. The descriptions reveal that information about these women and the places named for them varies widely; some are well-known and well-documented figures, while little is known about others.

RAILLINE_OFFICIAL is one of the important layers for Saskatchewan Upgraded Road Network (SURN) and National Road Network (NRN). The RAILLINE_OFFICIAL provides the information of Railine to clients that require accurate, relatively up-to-date and detailed description of Saskatchewan Railline Network.RAILLINE_OFFICIAL data layer was developed by the Saskatchewan Ministry of Highways & infrastructure and contains the OFFICIAL version of the rail lines network in the province. RAILLINE_OFFICIAL layer has the linear geomtry of the CN, CP and provincial/shortline rail line in Saskatchewan. This version of the network is the one used for mapping, querying and plotting.

These structure, isopach and zero edge files are part of a series of stratigraphic framework maps for the Saskatchewan Phanerozoic Fluids and Petroleum Systems (SPFPS) project.The series of stratigraphic framework maps for the Saskatchewan Phanerozoic Fluids and Petroleum Systems (SPFPS) project have been produced using 2 km equi-spaced modified grids generated from Golden Software’s Surfer 9 kriging algorithm. The dataset used to produce each of the maps in this series was created using data from several projects completed by the Ministry (Christopher, 2003; Saskatchewan Industry and Resources et al., 2004; Kreis et al., 2004; Marsh and Heinemann, 2006; Saskatchewan Ministry of Energy and Resources et al., 2007; Heinemann and Marsh, 2009); these data were validated and edited as required to facilitate correlations between the various regional projects. In addition, to minimize edge effects during contouring, the senior author also generated stratigraphic data from wells in adjacent jurisdictions.

The ROADSEG is created to serve a diverse group of clients that require relatively up-to-date and accurate description of Saskatchewan Road Network.ROADSEG contains all the features from HIGHWAY_OFFICIAL, RURAL_ROAD_OFFICIAL and OTHER_ROAD_OFFICIAL. ROADSEG is the Saskatchewan road network data that is being used by NRCAN as National Road Network (NRN). ROADSED data layer has been generated by merging HIGHWAY_OFFICIAL, RURAL_ROAD_OFFICIAL and OTHER_ROAD_OFFICIAL. Unique Identifiers (NID) is associated with each line segment. "NID" National Identifier is used to manage the updates between data producer and data users. ROADSEG data layer is one of the important data table for SURN, NRN, SASK911, CAR, SGI-iHaul and other applications.
