Indexes of the National Topographic System of Canada
Topographic maps produced by Natural Resources Canada conform to the National Topographic System (NTS) of Canada. Indexes are available in three standard scales: 1:1,000,000, 1:250,000 and 1:50,000. The area covered by a given mapsheet is determined by its latitude and longitude. 1:1,000,000 mapsheets are identified by a combination of three numbers (e.g. 098). 1:250,000 mapsheets are identified by a combination of numbers, and letters ranging from A through P (e.g. 098C). Sixteen smaller segments (1 to 16) form blocks used for 1:50,000 mapping (e.g. 098C03).
Map indexes at the scale of 1/2,000, 1/20,000, and 1/100,000
Map indexes are grids that divide the territory into several sheets for the whole of Quebec. The use of these indexes allows the identification of a map sheet number for a specific territory at the scale of 1/2,000, 1/20,000 and 1/100,000.The cartographic indexes come from the Quebec cartographic reference system (S.Q.R.C), which divides the territory into hierarchical units and at different scales (1/100,000, 1/20,000, 1/10,000, 1/10,000, 1/10,000, 1/10,000, 1/10,000, 1/5,000, 1/5,000, 1/5,000, 1/1,000). Canadian indexes of social resilience and vulnerability to natural hazards, 2021
The Canadian indexes of social resilience and vulnerability were created to provide area-based information on resilience and vulnerability to natural hazards and disasters across Canada. Specifically, the Canadian Index of Social Resilience (CISR) aims to reflect a community’s ability to respond to and recover from natural hazards. In contrast, the Canadian Index of Social Vulnerability (CISV) aims to reflect the social vulnerability of an area based on factors that have the potential to amplify the impact of disasters on populations.Before the CISR and CISV were built, indicator frameworks were developed for social resilience and social vulnerability, respectively. Indicators were selected because of their demonstrated association with social resilience or social vulnerability. The selection was informed by the theoretical and research literature, existing indexes, availability of relevant data and engagement with subject-matter experts.The CISR and the CISV were created using data from Dissemination areas (DAs) across the country. The selected indicators were included in a principal component analysis, which is a statistical technique that allows a large number of indicators to be collapsed into a smaller number of interpretable components. Based on the results of the principal component analysis, DA-level scores were calculated for each index. Higher CISR scores correspond to DAs that are more resilient and higher CISV scores correspond to DAs that are more vulnerable.These indexes can be used to better understand areas which may experience the largest disproportional social impacts from natural hazards.

This data set represents the digital information on all known mineral occurrences in the Province of Saskatchewan.This data shows information on all known mineral occurrences in Saskatchewan. Additional occurrences are added as new public domain geoscience information is analyzed. The data was created as a file geodatabase feature class and output for public distribution. Current definitions for the mineral deposit categories used in the Saskatchewan Mineral Deposit Index can be found by searching “Mineral Deposit Category Definition Tables” on the Publications Saskatchewan website. Manitoba Waterbody Stocking Records
This dataset contains information on fish stockings since 1917 in Manitoba waterbodies with details on date of stocking, amount of fish, size of fish and species of fish.Stocking Data is a point layer representing individual stocking events dating back to 1917. Each record contains information such as waterbody name, fish species, fish size and quantities, as well as the fishing division of the waterbody. Stocking data is updated multiple times per year as the Province of Manitoba Hatchery conducts stocking. The stocking data layer, along with related information, can be found at the Manitoba Lake Information For Anglers app. The project was initiated by Manitoba Wildlife and Fisheries Branch with funding from the Fish and Wildlife Enhancement Fund. Data is provided by Manitoba Wildlife and Fisheries Branch, Swan Valley Sport Fishing and Manitoba Watershed Districts. For additional information visit Manitoba Fisheries. The dataset includes the following fields (Alias (Name): Description) Waterbody ID (WATERBODY_ID): Unique identifier for an individual waterbody. Waterbody Name (WATERBODY_NAME): Name of the waterbody that was stocked. Fishing Division (FISHING_DIVISION): Indicates which fishing division the waterbody is located in and where stocking event took place. Year (YEAR): Year of the stocking event. Date (DATE): Date of the stocking event. Species (SPECIES): Species that was stocked. Size (SIZE): Size of the fish that were stocked. Quantity (QUANTITY): Approximate number of fish stocked. Lat (DD) (LAT_DD): Latitudinal coordinates of the stocking event (if recorded, otherwise the representative centroid of the waterbody) in decimal degrees. Long (DD) (LONG_DD): Longitudinal coordinates of the stocking event (if recorded, otherwise the representative centroid of the waterbody) in decimal degrees. Waterbody Lat (WATERBODY_LAT): Latitudinal coordinates of the representative centroid of the waterbody in decimal degrees. Waterbody Long (WATERBODY_LONG): Longitudinal coordinates of the representative centroid of the waterbody in decimal degrees.

Manitoba market crop prices, based on weekly surveys of grain buyers' pricingThis table contains weekly and monthly average prices for different Manitoba crops. Prices are based on weekly surveys of grain buyers' pricing as well as other publicly available market sources. The table contains prices for current and previous years, as well as five-year average weekly and monthly prices. Each weekly dataset contains prices on the sales that occurred from Friday to Thursday. The monthly price represents a simple average of the corresponding weekly prices. This table is used in the Manitoba Crop Prices and Manitoba Crop Prices Current year dashboards.
