Indigenous Community Infrastructure
The Indigenous Community Infrastructure dataset depicts infrastructure projects across Canada that are supported by Indigenous Services Canada (ISC) targeted infrastructure funding. It contains data related to project category, description, status, departmental investment and community. The dataset allows the Department to pinpoint and share information about individual infrastructure projects in Indigenous communities, in a proactive and transparent manner, to: • Showcase where and how investments are carried out • Demonstrate the Government’s commitment to address socio-economic gaps between Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities in Canada and improve access to high-quality servicesProjects featured in this Indigenous Community Infrastructure dataset are updated on a quarterly basis. Because some projects will benefit more than one community, the number of projects does not match the number of markers on the map or of entries in the dataset. For more information, visit https://www.sac-isc.gc.ca/eng/1526995988708/1526996020578.
Utilities and Communications
UTC - Utility and communication networks (utilitiesCommunication) Energy, water and waste systems, and communications infrastructure and services. Ministry of Transportation (MOT) Landmark Kilometre Inventory (LKI)
The Landmark Kilometre Inventory spatial layer is used primarily by the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure (MOT) to represent routes against which accident data and traffic counts are collected. This method describes roads by a four number designation referred to as a segment (i.e. 0375) This spatial layer was created based on Digital Road Atlas (DRA) centerline using linear referencing
RAILLINE OFFICIAL
RAILLINE_OFFICIAL is one of the important layers for Saskatchewan Upgraded Road Network (SURN) and National Road Network (NRN). The RAILLINE_OFFICIAL provides the information of Railine to clients that require accurate, relatively up-to-date and detailed description of Saskatchewan Railline Network.RAILLINE_OFFICIAL data layer was developed by the Saskatchewan Ministry of Highways & infrastructure and contains the OFFICIAL version of the rail lines network in the province. RAILLINE_OFFICIAL layer has the linear geomtry of the CN, CP and provincial/shortline rail line in Saskatchewan. This version of the network is the one used for mapping, querying and plotting.
BLKPASSAGE OFFICIAL
BLKPASSAGE_OFFICIAL is one of the important layers for Saskatchewan Upgraded Road Network (SURN) and National Road Network (NRN). The BLKPASSAGE_OFFICIAL provides the information of road blocked passage to clients that require accurate, relatively up-to-date and detailed description of Saskatchewan Road Network.BLKPASSAGE_OFFICIAL, This layer contains data for a structure indicating a physical barrier on a Road Element built to prevent or control further access. BLKPASSAGE_OFFICIAL contains all the blocked passage points in the Saskatchewan. BLKPASSAGE_OFFICIAL is an important part of the Saskatchewan road network dataset. Each point geometry " BLKPASSAGE" has unique Identifiers (NID). "NID" National Identifier is used to manage the updates between data producer and data users.
ROADSEG
ROADSEG is one of the important layers for Saskatchewan Upgraded Road Network (SURN) and National Road Network (NRN). The ROADSEG is created to serve a diverse group of clients that require relatively up-to-date and accurate description of Saskatchewan Road Network.ROADSEG contains all the features from HIGHWAY_OFFICIAL, RURAL_ROAD_OFFICIAL and OTHER_ROAD_OFFICIAL. ROADSEG is the Saskatchewan road network data that is being used by NRCAN as National Road Network (NRN). ROADSED data layer has been generated by merging HIGHWAY_OFFICIAL, RURAL_ROAD_OFFICIAL and OTHER_ROAD_OFFICIAL. Unique Identifiers (NID) is associated with each line segment. "NID" National Identifier is used to manage the updates between data producer and data users. ROADSEG data layer is one of the important data table for SURN, NRN, SASK911, CAR, SGI-iHaul and other applications.

Manitoba Highway Inventory 2017
An accurate depiction of road structure construction history of the Highway Network in Manitoba.Manitoba Infrastructure --> Highway Engineering--> Highway Planning and Design (HPD) manages the Highway Inventory System (HIS). This system tracks road structure and construction history of Manitoba's Road Network. Published annually, this layer aids provincial engineers in planning and managing construction projects, both present and future. The department’s linear referencing system (LRS) uses control sections as a linear referencing method (LRM). These control section are further divided into subsections. It is on these subsections that road structure and construction history are tracked in the highway inventory system database. Please note that this feature layer primarily contains only the roads Manitoba Infrastructure is responsible for, i.e. Provincial Trunk Highways, Provincial Roads and Access Roads. It does not include municipal mile or grid roads. However, you may also see Earth Roads (under construction) or Other roads (such as those passing through national parks and are federal responsibility). A newer version of this data is available: Manitoba Highway Inventory 2018. This is part of the linear referencing method used for dynamic segmentation.END_KM (End Kilometre (KM)) - End KM is the end of the sub section within a Control Section. This is part of the linear referencing method used for dynamic segmentation.LENGTH_KM (Length (KM)) - End Kilometre minus the Start Kilometre.SECTION_DESC (Subsection Description) - A text description of where the subsection starts and ends. Projects funded by the EVAFIDI, ZEVIP, and CHRI infrastructure programs
Zero Emission Vehicle Infrastructure Program (ZEVIP) and Electric Vehicle and Alternative Fuel Infrastructure Deployment Initiative (EVAFIDI) qualitative, quantitative, and geographic data set derived from the program database. This data defines the project number, the number of chargers, the name of the promoter, the type of connector, the address, the city, the province, the postal code, the geographical coordinates, the status, the opening date, and the type of contribution agreement for each project funded by the program. The Canada Infrastructure Bank’s (CIB) Charging and Hydrogen Refuelling Infrastructure Initiative (CHRI) aims to reduce transportation sector greenhouse gas emissions by accelerating the private sector’s rollout of large-scale ZEV chargers and hydrogen refuelling stations, helping to spur the market for private investment.Through this initiative, the CIB has dedicated a minimum of $500 million to support the federal government’s goals as part of Canada’s 2030 Emissions Reduction Plan. Technology funding current to 30 June 2025.
