Alberta Transportation Region
The Alberta Transportation Region dataset is comprised of all the polygons that represent Alberta Transportation Regions in Alberta. The Transportation Region is the first level of administrative zones established by Alberta Transportation to manage roads (primary and secondary highways) under their jurisdiction. Alberta Transportation Region is sub-divided into Alberta Transportation District.
Alberta Transportation District
The Alberta Transportation District dataset is comprised of all the polygons that represent Alberta Transportation Districts in Alberta. The Transportation District is the second level of administrative zones established by Alberta Transportation to manage roads (primary and secondary highways) under their jurisdiction. Alberta Transportation District indicates the subunits of Alberta Transportation Region.
New Brunswick Department of Transportation and Infrastructure Highway Network
This dataset contains a linear reference network of the roads and highways that are managed by the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure (DTI). Highways are identified by road name and route number. Roads are segmented by DTI control section identifier and functional class. Note that roads not managed by DTI are not included in this dataset.
Canada’s National Highway System
NHS as officially accepted by the Council of Ministers, mapping by Transport Canada.
Ministry of Transportation (MOT) Railroad Crossing
A Railroad Crossing is where the road surface is common to both the Railway Authority and the Ministry of Transportation Road Network; also includes overhead and under passes. It is a Point feature
Oil and Gas Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure Applications
The area of Crown land disturbance for applications falling within a Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure (MOTI) road allowance. The BC Energy Regulator issues cutting permits for any new Crown land disturbance within MOTI unconstructed road allowances. The Regulator does not issue land tenure over MOTI right of ways. This dataset contains polygon features for proposed applications collected through the Regulator's Application Management System (AMS). This dataset is updated nightly.
Ministry of Transportation (MOT) Landmark Kilometre Inventory (LKI)
The Landmark Kilometre Inventory spatial layer is used primarily by the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure (MOT) to represent routes against which accident data and traffic counts are collected. This method describes roads by a four number designation referred to as a segment (i.e. 0375) This spatial layer was created based on Digital Road Atlas (DRA) centerline using linear referencing
Ministry of Transportation (MOT) Special Lane
A Special Lane defines the number of special lanes that are not defined as through travel lanes, passing lanes, or truck lanes which are described in the Highway Profile dataset. It is a Linear feature
Administrative territory
Polygons representing the territorial boundaries of the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility: - Directorates-general- Service centers**This third party metadata element was translated using an automated translation tool (Amazon Translate).**
Ministry of Transportation (MOT) Highway Profile
A Highway Profile defines the number of through travel lanes, including passing and truck lanes, and whether the road is divided or not. It is a Linear feature
