Watercourses - Whitehorse - 10k
The field work for the inventory was carried out during the winter of 2004/2005 with the project delivered by the contractor in October 2005. Delineation was based on 1:10,000 black and white photography acquired by the City of Whitehorse in 2001. Mapping and DTM were available for this project based on the 2001 photography.Distributed from [GeoYukon](https://yukon.ca/geoyukon) by the [Government of Yukon](https://yukon.ca/maps) . VRI - 2024 - Forest Vegetation Composite Rank 1 Layer (R1)
Geospatial forest inventory dataset updated for depletions, such as harvesting, and projected annually for growth. Sample attributes in this dataset include: age, species, volume, height. The Vegetation Resources Inventory (VRI) spatial datasets describe both where a vegetation resource (ie timber volume, tree species) is located and how much of a given resource is within an inventory unit. FADM - Region Compartment
The spatial representation for an Inventory Region or Compartment. Established by the Resource Inventory Branch, Inventory Regions are large drainages encompassing groups of small drainages also known as compartments. These were once used for planning purposes, similar to the current Planning Cells. They are now maintained in the files as reference for many administration boundaries
Original ecoforest map and results of the fourth inventory
__The link: *Access the data directory* is available in the section*Dataset Description Sheets; Additional Information*__.The original ecoforest map and the results of the 4th ecoforest inventory of southern Quebec constitute a grouping of ecoforest data including the original ecoforest map of the 4th inventory and numerous other tables providing information directly related to ecoforest populations. The information in this dataset corresponds to the forest profile up to the year of aerial photography. Among the numerous tables and entity classes that the product brings together, the following groups can be distinguished: * The original ecoforest map of the 4th inventory made up of ecoforest polygons. This is the geographic base to which all other data is attached; * The forest compilations of the 4th inventory, which contain, among other things, the gross commercial volumes evaluated by essence; * The ecological classification of Quebec territory; * Data for the characterization of forest stations. __Note that__ the original ecoforest map of the 4th inventory has been complete since 2018 and that no new mapping has been added. This differs from the current original ecoforest map where, each year, a portion of Quebec's territory is photo-interpreted and integrated into the provincial product by replacing the cartographic information from the previous inventory. In addition, some areas have not been mapped since the 3rd inventory and are therefore absent from the original ecoforest map from the 4th inventory.**This third party metadata element was translated using an automated translation tool (Amazon Translate).**
Forest Inventory Label Additional Table
This table is a list of polygon attributes to be used in map production for the vegetation Inventory map series. It contains attribute information for polygons in the inventory that are not labeled with the Inventory Annotation. Attribute information is pulled from this table to use as additional labels on the map layout for the Forest Inventory map series.Distributed from [GeoYukon](https://yukon.ca/geoyukon) by the [Government of Yukon](https://yukon.ca/maps) . Wooded areas
This dataset is often used by users without access to the Provincial Forest Resource Inventory data, which contains information like municipalities and non-profit groups not affiliated with monitoring or maintaining the Forest Resource Inventory.
Leading Group for the Cariboo Region
####Leading Group for the Cariboo Region (pinegroup or firgroup). #### 1. IDF - Fir Group: includes all forest polygons in NDT 4 (IDF and BG biogeoclimatic zones) that meet any of the following criteria: *a) Douglas-fir ( Fd or Fdi) leading or ponderosa pine leading; *b) Lodgepole pine leading, and Douglas-fir ( Fd or Fdi) or ponderosa pine greater than 15% in any inventory layer; *c) Trembling aspen leading, and Douglas-fir ( Fd or Fdi) or Ponderosa pine greater than 15% in any inventory layer, and spruce, red-cedar, cottonwood and birch less than 6% in any inventory layer; *d) No species information in inventory data (usually NSR stands), and inventory type group for pre-harvest stand or the current stand = 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 29, or 32 These inventory type groups correspond to the following species compositions F, FC, FCy, FH, FS, FPl, Fpy, FL, FDEcid, PlF and Py. If inventory type group=0 and pre-harvest inventory type is not available, classify the polygon as Pine Group. 2. IDF-Pl Group: includes all forest polygons in NDT 4 (IDF and BG biogeoclimatic zones) that do not meet the above definition for IDF-Fir Group.
Orthoimages of Canada, 1999-2003
This collection is a legacy product that is no longer supported. It may not meet current government standards. This inventory presents chronologically the satellite images acquired, orthorectified and published over time by Natural Resources Canada. It is composed of imagery from the Landsat7 (1999-2003) and RADARSAT-1 (2001-2002) satellites, as well as the CanImage by-product and the control points used to process the images.Landsat7 Orthorectified Imagery: The orthoimage dataset is a complete set of cloud-free (less than 10%) orthoimages covering the Canadian landmass and created with the most accurate control data available at the time of creation.RADARSAT-1 Orthorectified Imagery: The 5 RADARSAT-1 images (processed and distributed by RADARSAT International (RSI) complete the landsat 7 orthoimagery coverage. They are stored as raster data produced from SAR Standard 7 (S7) beam mode with a pixel size of 15 m. They have been produced in accordance with NAD83 (North American Datum of 1983) using the Universal Transverse Mercator (UTM) projection. RADARSAT-1 orthoimagery were produced with the 1:250 000 Canadian Digital Elevation Data (CDED) and photogrammetric control points generated from the Aerial Survey Data Base (ASDB).CanImage -Landsat7 Orthoimages of Canada,1:50 000: CanImage is a raster image containing information from Landsat7 orthoimages that have been resampled and based on the National Topographic System (NTS) at the 1:50 000 scale in the UTM projection. The product is distributed in datasets in GeoTIFF format. The resolution of this product is 15 metres.Landsat7 Imagery Control Points: the control points were used for the geometric correction of Landsat7 satellite imagery. They can also be used to correct vector data and for simultaneously displaying data from several sources prepared at different scales or resolutions.
CEEI Primary Indicators Total 2007 Regional Districts
Community Energy and Emissions Inventory (CEEI) Primary Indicators Total 2007 Reporting Year by Regional District
Ministry of Transportation (MOT) Landmark Kilometre Inventory (LKI)
The Landmark Kilometre Inventory spatial layer is used primarily by the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure (MOT) to represent routes against which accident data and traffic counts are collected. This method describes roads by a four number designation referred to as a segment (i.e. 0375) This spatial layer was created based on Digital Road Atlas (DRA) centerline using linear referencing
