This data set represents the digital information on all known mineral occurrences in the Province of Saskatchewan.This data shows information on all known mineral occurrences in Saskatchewan. Additional occurrences are added as new public domain geoscience information is analyzed. The data was created as a file geodatabase feature class and output for public distribution. Current definitions for the mineral deposit categories used in the Saskatchewan Mineral Deposit Index can be found by searching “Mineral Deposit Category Definition Tables” on the Publications Saskatchewan website. Alberta Geological Survey Bulletin 64 documents 190 metallic mineral occurrences. We have digitized these occurrences into GIS format as a point shapefile. The description of these 190 metallic mineral occurrences on the exposed Precambrian Shield of northeast Alberta provides models for mineral deposition, establishes exploration targets and gives insights into the economic potential of the mineral showings. Commodities include gold, uranium, base metals and rare-earth elements. Among these occurrences, we have investigated 20 of them sufficiently, and they are of sufficient exploration importance to be classified as a mineral showing.

The Yukon Territory is underlain by a great variety of rock types ranging in age from Early Proterozoic to Recent and representing diverse environments including epicratonic basins, subsiding shelves, foreland basins, island arcs and deep ocean basins. Episodes of compressional and extensional deformation, transcurrent faulting, metamorphism and plutonism further complicate the map pattern. The AMDO (Alberta Mineral Deposits and Occurrences) application was created by the Minerals and Coal Geoscience Section of the Alberta Geological Survey as a database for mineral deposits in Alberta in the early 1990s. It was originally released as Open File Report OFR 1991-17. Industrial minerals from that data source have been extracted into Microsoft Access, their locations refined or corrected and presented in GIS format.

This business view contains a detailed set of attributes. A reserve is established by a B.C. Regulation of the Chief Gold Commissioner under - Section 22 of the Mineral Tenure Act: Mineral reserves - Section 21 of the Coal Act: Coal land reserves and it is the legal instrument used to prevent or restrict access to mineral, placer and coal lands.

Minfile contains geological, location, and economic information on more than 2,500 metallic, industrial mineral and coal mines, deposits and occurrences in Yukon. This GIS data set is a daily extract of our MINFILE database, showing point location, name, deposit type, deposit status and commodities. This data set is the ArcInfo version of the Nova Scotia Mineral Occurrence Database. The data set was compiled by the Geoscience and Mines Branch of the Nova Scotia Department of Natural Resources and Renewables. This digital product was developed from the databases contained in Digital Product DP ME 1b. DP ME 2 contains a series of attribute tables that contain information about the various mineral occurrences present in the province of Nova Scotia. It includes information such as: types of alteration, sample analyses information, mineral commodities, coordinates, element and mineral type, mode of mineralization, NTS mapsheet information, element sampling information, stratigraphic units, types of surveys carried out and work done on the occurrence.

A mineral lease is a mineral claim that has been surveyed by a Canada Lands Surveyor. A mineral lease can be applied for after an exploration prospecting company has done a minimum of representation work in the claim area and if a legal survey on the claim has been recorded. This model is derived from geological, geophysical and other forms of geodata. Feature extraction used deep learning. Predictive modelling made use of the deep ensemble method. Displayed is a Pan-Canadian probability map of mineral potential of graphite. This map was generated using known graphite deposits and occurrences and their associated features. Higher probability values highlight areas with an increased probability of graphite mineral systems.
