Mineral Tenure in Nunavut - Mining Leases
* This dataset is updated on a daily basis. The ‘Record Modified’ date refers to the last metadata update. This dataset contains the extent of mineral leases in Nunavut. A mineral lease is a mineral claim that has been surveyed by a Canada Lands Surveyor. A mineral lease can be applied for after an exploration prospecting company has done a minimum of representation work in the claim area and if a legal survey on the claim has been recorded. A mineral lease is required for disposal or sale of minerals or of a gross value of more than $100,000 in one year. For more information, visit https://www.rcaanc-cirnac.gc.ca/eng/1100100036000/1547749889500. Note: This is one of the four (4) datasets that describe mineral tenure in Nunavut. It includes mineral claims, mining leases, prospecting permits as well as coal exploration licences.
MTA - Mineral, Placer and Coal Tenure Spatial View
This is the spatial view used by Mineral Titles Online (MTO) on the mineral, placer and coal viewers. The spatial view combines the polygon information with attribute information for each title. Contains sub-surface title data in British Columbia for: - mineral claims, mining leases, mineral claim applications - placer claims, placer leases, placer claim applications - coal license applications, coal licenses, coal leases
MTA - Mineral Placer Grid
The grid system used in Mineral Titles Online (MTO). This grid is used to determine the location of mineral and placer cell titles in B.C. The grid is designed based on the Mineral Title Online Grid Regulation. The mineral-placer grid does not show current cell availability status. The dataset is very large and cannot be downloaded for the entire province. Try selecting specific mapsheet grids or selecting by an area of interest to download in sections.
MTA - Mineral, Placer and Coal Tenure History SP
Holds historical data for mineral and placer, claims and leases, as well as, coal license applications, licenses and leases within the Province of British Columbia. This layer is utilized by Mineral Titles Online title history on the mineral, placer and coal viewers, respectively.
Mineral Tenure in Nunavut - Mineral Claims
* This dataset is updated on a daily basis. The ‘Record Modified’ date refers to the last metadata update. This dataset contains the extent of mineral claims held in Nunavut. A mineral claim is an area of Crown Land that is selected using the Nunavut Map Selection system by an individual or mineral exploration company that holds a valid licence to prospect. This grants the individual or mineral exploration company the mineral rights to the recorded area as provided for under the Nunavut Mining Regulations, SOR/2014-69. If the holder of a mineral claim wishes to produce minerals from the claim, or to hold it for more than thirty years, the holder must apply for a lease of the claim. This digital coverage provides a record and tracking mechanism for mining exploration in Nunavut.
Mineral Deposits Index
This data set represents the digital information on all known mineral occurrences in the Province of Saskatchewan. This data shows information on all known mineral occurrences in Saskatchewan. Additional occurrences are added as new public domain geoscience information is analyzed. The data was created as a file geodatabase feature class and output for public distribution. Current definitions for the mineral deposit categories used in the Saskatchewan Mineral Deposit Index can be found by searching “Mineral Deposit Category Definition Tables” on the Publications Saskatchewan website. To view or download more datasets from the Saskatchewan Geological Survey, please visit our GeoHub page (https://er-saskatchewan.hub.arcgis.com/pages/saskatchewan-geological-survey) or our Saskatchewan Mining and Petroleum GeoAtlas (https://gisappl.saskatchewan.ca/geoatlas). **Please Note – All published Saskatchewan Geological Survey datasets, including those available through the Saskatchewan Mining and Petroleum GeoAtlas, are sourced from the Enterprise GIS Data Warehouse. They are therefore identical and share the same refresh schedule.
Mineral claims line - surveyed
A Surveyed Sub-Surface Area Object that represents the spatial extent of a mineral claim to which sub-surface rights can be registered. In the Yukon, mineral claims can be classified as Quartz or Placer Claims, where as in other regions they are generically called mineral claimsDistributed from [GeoYukon](https://yukon.ca/geoyukon) by the [Government of Yukon](https://yukon.ca/maps) . Critical minerals advanced projects, mines and processing facilities in Canada
This dataset contains primary processing facilities (e.g., smelters and refineries), mines and advanced projects related to Canada’s 34 critical minerals. Advanced projects are those with mineral reserves or resources (measured or indicated), the potential viability of which is supported by a preliminary economic assessment or a prefeasibility/feasibility study. These sites process, produce or consider producing at least one of Canada's critical minerals, but other minerals and metals may also be present. This dataset contains links that direct to non-Government of Canada websites that are not subject to the Privacy Act, the Official Languages Act or the Standard on Web Accessibility. Please see our terms and conditions for more information (https://www.nrcan.gc.ca/terms-and-conditions/10847).Primary processing facilities and mines data are sourced from Map 900A, Principal mineral areas, producing mines, and oil and gas fields in Canada. Data on advanced critical minerals projects are produced and published annually by Natural Resources Canada, in collaboration with provinces and territories. Data are compiled from a variety of public sources. Natural Resources Canada does not assume responsibility for errors or omissions. Please report any recommended revisions.
Mineral Deposits by Property
The purpose of this dataset is to provide quantitative analysis on specific commodities, offering insights into:- The total amount of specific commodities, e.g., Gold, in Yukon's hard rock deposits. - The highest-grade and largest deposits in Yukon. - The distribution of mineral resources within multiple zones in a deposit. - Source reports, direct links, and confidence levels for each mineral resource statement. - Differentiation between 43-101, JORC, and historical estimates. The resources in this dataset have been summarized and averaged to show the total geologic resource for a property or zone. For the exact numbers, please refer to the NI 43-101 compliant resource statement.+-----------------------------------+-----------------------------------+| Field\ | Description\ || \ | \ |+-----------------------------------+-----------------------------------+| Property\ | Property for which deposit || \ | resource was calculated.\ || | \ |+-----------------------------------+-----------------------------------+| Zone\ | Zone for which deposit resource || \ | was calculated.\ || | \ |+-----------------------------------+-----------------------------------+| 43-101 Compliant\ | If the resource calculation is NI || \ | 43-101 compliant, JORC compliant, || | or historic.\ || | \ |+-----------------------------------+-----------------------------------+| Commodities\ | The types of commodities || \ | contained in the resource || | calculation, order is || | alphabetic.\ || | \ |+-----------------------------------+-----------------------------------+| Categories\ | The resource categories used to || \ | create the calculation.
