Canada's National Earthquake Scenario Catalogue - Mystery Lake - Magnitude 5.0
A magnitude 5 earthquake scenario along an unnamed fault located about 15 km north-northeast of Burnaby City Hall and directly south of Mt Elsay. This fault is not known to be active, but this scenario represents a small but damaging event in the North Shore Mountains.
Cobb Seamount Visual Survey 2012 (AUV)
This dataset contains observations of species occurrences from seafloor imagery collected by the autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) during the 2012 Expedition to Cobb Seamount. The National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration-operated SeaBED-class AUV which collected photographic images from 4 transects ranging from 436 m to 1154 m in depth.
Laurier Lake, Alberta - Bathymetry, Digital Elevation Model (Arc ASCII grid format)
All available bathymetry and related information for Laurier Lake were collected and hard copy maps digitized where necessary. The data were validated against more recent data (Shuttle Radar Topography Mission 'SRTM' imagery and Indian Remote Sensing 'IRS' imagery) and corrected where necessary. The published data set contains the lake bathymetry formatted as an Arc ascii grid. Bathymetric contours and the boundary polygon are available as shapefiles.
Cobb Seamount Visual Survey 2012 (ROV)
This dataset contains observations of species occurrences from seafloor imagery collected by the remotely operated underwater vehicle (ROV) during the 2012 Expedition to Cobb Seamount. The ROV operated by Fisheries and Oceans Canada was a customized Deep Ocean Engineering Phantom HD2+2 which collected photographic images from 12 transects ranging from 35 m to 211 m in depth.
FADM - Cascade Mountain Boundary
The spatial representation for a polygon defining the area of the province defined as west of the Cascade Mountains
Terrestrial Ecosystem Mapping - MT Broadwood Heritage Cons Area
Terrestrial Ecosystem Mapping for Mt Broadwood Heritage Conservation Area in the Rocky Mountain Forest District (ttem_bd)
Magnetic Domains
This dataset represents the interpreted Magnetic Domains of the Province of Saskatchewan. This dataset represents the interpreted Magnetic Domains of the Province of Saskatchewan. Regions of like magnetic intensity and/or structural texture have been interpreted from new aeromagnetic data collected for the Athabasca Basin and surrounding environs. Interpretations were made using a variety of presentations of the primary data including total magnetic intensity (TMI), 1st vertical derivative of TMI, horizontal derivative of TMI, automatic gain control of TMI and tilt derivative. Where possible, the interpreted domains extend the aeromagnetic response from older rocks that flank the basin beneath rocks of the Athabasca Group. The data was created as a file geodatabase feature class and output for public distribution. **Please Note – All published Saskatchewan Geological Survey datasets, including those available through the Saskatchewan Mining and Petroleum GeoAtlas, are sourced from the Enterprise GIS Data Warehouse. They are therefore identical and share the same refresh schedule.
Geographic Township Improved
A Township is a land subdivision in Ontario. This information was captured through the Ontario Base Mapping Program, is maintained by the Ministry of Natural Resources and distributed through Geospatial Ontario (GEO) Warehouse. The spatial accuracy for some of the townships was improved through the Ontario Parcel, Township Realignment and Township Improvement projects. Improvements may include: * road allowance widths * spatial changes to better represent where the township boundaries are located * more consistent concession names Materials used to improve the location of township lines may include: * township Improvement plots * survey information i.e. retracements * original township plans * surveys notes * the physical features e.g. fence lines in the corporate editing environment * water bodies * GPS Ontario Road Network geometry This product requires the use of geographic information system (GIS) software.
Laurier Lake, Alberta - Bathymetry (GIS data, line features)
All available bathymetry and related information for Laurier Lake were collected and hard copy maps digitized where necessary. The data were validated against more recent data (Shuttle Radar Topography Mission 'SRTM' imagery and Indian Remote Sensing 'IRS' imagery) and corrected where necessary. The published data set contains the lake bathymetry formatted as an Arc ascii grid. Bathymetric contours and the boundary polygon are available as shapefiles.
Laurier Lake, Alberta - Boundary (GIS data, polygon features)
All available bathymetry and related information for Laurier Lake were collected and hard copy maps digitized where necessary. The data were validated against more recent data (Shuttle Radar Topography Mission 'SRTM' imagery and Indian Remote Sensing 'IRS' imagery) and corrected where necessary. The published data set contains the lake bathymetry formatted as an Arc ascii grid. Bathymetric contours and the boundary polygon are available as shapefiles.
