Major Projects Inventory (Economic) - Points
The Major Projects Inventory (MPI), which is published quarterly, lists all major projects that are proposed, planned or underway in British Columbia. These are projects with a capital cost of at least $20 million each within the Lower Mainland and projects valued at $15 million or more in the rest of B.C. This is a point layer. It contains two polygon datasets that help users determine whether a property is affected by requirements in the regulation and a point dataset to help users navigate to propertiesThis is the data for the Winnipeg Airport Vicinity Protection Area Regulation's interactive web map. It was developed to help interested parties determine whether a property is affected by the Airport Vicinity Protection Area Regulation. To protect and foster the airport’s operations and continued growth, while ensuring orderly and efficient development within Winnipeg, the Province has adopted an Airport Vicinity Protection Area Regulation under The City of Winnipeg Charter. The regulation defines two protection areas called "Area 1" and "Area 2".These areas provide direction on where and what type of residential development may take place near the airport. Area 1 comprises of lands immediately adjacent to the airport, where no new residential development will be permitted, except for replacement of buildings and minor infilling. Area 2 is located further away from the airport, where new or replacement residential development may be constructed. All development within the regulated lands must comply with indoor noise level limits set out in the Regulation. The parcel boundaries in this interactive map are representations of parcels as defined by plan of subdivision or plan of survey registered at the Land Titles Office. This type of property boundary was chosen because the land division in these plans is used to define property ownership in Manitoba.
Oceans Act Marine Protected Areas
Marine protected areas (MPAs) are one among a number of spatial management tools, and are defined as areas that are established for the long-term, and managed through legal or other effective means, to achieve the long-term conservation of nature with associated ecosystem services and cultural values.Currently, Fisheries and Oceans Canada has a number of MPAs designated under the Oceans Act and Areas of Interest for new MPAs at various stages of progress towards designation. These areas are ecologically significant, with species and/or features that require special management consideration. An Oceans Act MPA can be established for any of the six conservation purposes outlined in the Act:• The conservation and protection of commercial and non-commercial fishery resources, including marine mammals, and their habitats; • The conservation and protection of endangered or threatened marine species, and their habitats; • The conservation and protection of unique habitats; • The conservation and protection of marine areas of high biodiversity or biological productivity; • The conservation and protection of any other marine resource or habitat as is necessary to fulfill the mandate of the Minister; and• The conservation and protection of marine areas for the purposes of maintaining ecological integrity

Technology funding current to 30 June 2025.

Integrated Resource Plan - Local
The Integrated Resource Plan - Local dataset is comprised of all the polygons that represent the Local Integrated Resource Plans (IRP) in Alberta. A Local IRP provides land resource management direction for a relatively smaller geographic planning area. A Local Plan is developed to provide more detailed land and resource use parameters than may be available in a Sub-Regional Plan. An IRP is a plan which identifies the values and associated land and resource management goals for the planning area in consideration of the maintenance of social, economic, and ecological values. An IRP provides direction regarding the type of land and resource management activity that would facilitate meeting the stated objectives in the planning area (e.g. recreation, grazing, industrial and commercial activities). The public was often involved in contributing input to the development of an IRP. IRPs were endorsed by the Government of Alberta in various periods.
