Air Pollutant Emissions - Volatile organic compound emissions by facility
The Canadian Environmental Sustainability Indicators (CESI) program provides data and information to track Canada's performance on key environmental sustainability issues. The Air pollutant emissions indicators track emissions from human activities of 6 key air pollutants: sulphur oxides (SOX), nitrogen oxides (NOX), volatile organic compounds (VOCs), ammonia (NH3), carbon monoxide (CO) and fine particulate matter (PM2.5). Black carbon, which is a component of PM2.5, produced by combustion, is also reported. Sectoral indicators on air pollutant emissions from the oil and gas industry, transportation, off-road vehicles and mobile equipment and electric utilities provide additional analysis on the largest sources of Canada's air pollutant emissions.For each air pollutant, the indicators are provided at the national and provincial/territorial levels. They also identify the major sources of emissions and provide links to detailed information on air pollutant emissions from facilities. The Air pollutant emissions indicators are intended to inform Canadians and decision makers about progress made towards reducing emissions from human-related sources of air pollutants and about the effectiveness of emission reduction measures in reducing emissions to improve ambient air quality in Canada. Information is provided to Canadians in a number of formats including: static and interactive maps, charts and graphs, HTML and CSV data tables and downloadable reports. Weekly Best-Quality Maximum - NDVI Anomalies
Each pixel value corresponds to the difference (anomaly) between the mean “Best-Quality” Max-NDVI of the week specified (e.g. Week 18, 2000-2014) and the “Best-Quality” Max-NDVI of the same week in a specific year (e.g. Week 18, 2015). Max-NDVI anomalies < 0 indicate where weekly Max-NDVI is lower than normal. Anomalies > 0 indicate where weekly Max-NDVI is higher than normal. Anomalies close to 0 indicate where weekly Max-NDVI is similar to normal.

Annual 30 m snow dynamics (2018-2019 to 2023-2024) – Canada
This catalog contains annual 30 m spatial resolution snow dynamics metrics for each snow-year from 2018-2019 to 2023-2024 for all of Canada. We gather all Landsat and Sentinel-2 images collected over Canada and identify the status of each pixel observation on the image collection date: snow (and ice), non-snow (i.e., land, water), unclear (i.e., clouds, shadows). We built an algorithm to calculate snow cover metrics for each pixel during each winter: start date of the first (and biggest) snow period [startF, startB], end date of the last (and biggest) snow period [endL, endB], number of days with snow cover in total (or in the biggest snow period) [lengthT, lengthB], number of snow periods (i.e., separated times with multiple confirmed snow observations) [periods], and a status classification (e.g., continuous snow, snow free) [status]. We do not obtain a clear observation every day because of satellite orbit frequencies and clouds. This means that timing-based metrics are identified by the middle date between two clear observations, with uncertainty quantified as half the length of the gap (i.e., ± days) [startF_u, startB_u, endL_u, endB_u, lengthT_u, lengthB_u].

Manitoba market hog prices are collected from major processors in Manitoba, compiled and released weekly by Manitoba Agriculture and Resource Development (ARD). Manitoba market hog prices are weighted by the volume of hogs processed, and averaged monthly. United States (U.S.) iso-wean and feeder pig prices are sourced from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and presented in Canadian dollars (C$) using the Bank of Canada exchange rate. Monthly U.S. iso-wean and feeder pig prices are a simple average of the weekly U.S. total composite weighted average prices.
