This data set represents the digital information on all known mineral occurrences in the Province of Saskatchewan.This data shows information on all known mineral occurrences in Saskatchewan. Additional occurrences are added as new public domain geoscience information is analyzed. The data was created as a file geodatabase feature class and output for public distribution. Current definitions for the mineral deposit categories used in the Saskatchewan Mineral Deposit Index can be found by searching “Mineral Deposit Category Definition Tables” on the Publications Saskatchewan website. This data set is the ArcInfo version of the Nova Scotia Mineral Occurrence Database. The data set was compiled by the Geoscience and Mines Branch of the Nova Scotia Department of Natural Resources and Renewables. This digital product was developed from the databases contained in Digital Product DP ME 1b. DP ME 2 contains a series of attribute tables that contain information about the various mineral occurrences present in the province of Nova Scotia. It includes information such as: types of alteration, sample analyses information, mineral commodities, coordinates, element and mineral type, mode of mineralization, NTS mapsheet information, element sampling information, stratigraphic units, types of surveys carried out and work done on the occurrence.

Alberta Geological Survey Bulletin 64 documents 190 metallic mineral occurrences. We have digitized these occurrences into GIS format as a point shapefile. The description of these 190 metallic mineral occurrences on the exposed Precambrian Shield of northeast Alberta provides models for mineral deposition, establishes exploration targets and gives insights into the economic potential of the mineral showings. Commodities include gold, uranium, base metals and rare-earth elements. Among these occurrences, we have investigated 20 of them sufficiently, and they are of sufficient exploration importance to be classified as a mineral showing.

This compilation includes S (1251 analyses) and Pb (1622 analyses) isotopic data from nearly 450 mineral occurrences. Approximately 300 of these occurrences are located in Yukon and the remainder are located in British Columbia, Alaska or Northwest Territories. To facilitate data interpretation, a hierarchical deposit model scheme and mineralization age are ascribed to each occurrence.The Pb isotope portion of this compilation builds upon the compilation by Collin Godwin (1988) that was subsequently maintained by the University of British Columbia. Data from Alaska are primarily from the Gaccetta and Church (1989) compilation.This dataset is designed to be used in conjunction with a GIS platform and as such is presented here as a "flat file" (i.e., shapefile, geodatabase and text formats). The simple data structure allows for easier integration into GIS platforms and greater spatial querying of the data.This sulphide isotope database will be subject to periodic updates as new data are acquired through ongoing mapping, exploration and other research activities. Any errors, omissions or new data known to users should be reported to the Yukon Geological Survey. The B.C. Conservation Data Centre’s spatial view of publicly available, known locations of species and ecological communities at risk. This spatial view is split into the "Publicly Available Occurrences" layer and "(Extirpated and Historical) Publicly Available Occurrences" layer. The Extirpated and Historical layer includes element occurrences that have a last observation date greater than 40 years ago and element occurrences that are extirpated due to general habitat loss or degradation of the environment in the area. Use the field ‘Rank Description’ to differentiate between Historical and Extirpated element occurrences in this layer. All element occurrences are polygons: the size of the polygon usually reflects the locational uncertainty associated with the source data, represented with varying sized circles. Some polygons may be larger to reflect the actual area covered by the element occurrence. The field "Representational Accuracy" is used to communicate how accurately the polygon reflects the actual area covered by the element. If you do not find an element occurrence in your area of interest, this means there are none currently mapped in the CDC database. The best way to verify whether an area contains a species or ecosystem at risk is to have do a detailed assessment of the property during the appropriate season.

A comprehensive and up-to-date dataset of Mineral Resource Statements, including NI 43-101, JORC, and historic deposits in the Yukon. Resource statements have been grouped and calculations have been made to average and total the tonnage and grade for a property.

The B.C. Conservation Data Centre spatial layer that displays a generalised area that masks the precise locations of secured occurrences of species and ecosystems at risk. These are masked for public viewing and download. The occurrences may be secured due to the species or ecosystems being susceptible to persecution or harm, or for proprietary reasons. For information or to obtain details about Masked Occurrence Records, please contact the CDC at cdcdata@gov.bc.ca and provide projects details including precise location information and activities expected to occur on site or other reasons for requiring the information. Release of details of secured occurrences is subject to the signing of a Confidentiality and Non-reproduction Agreement and a demonstrated "need-to-know".
