RADARSAT-1 - Heatmap of processed archived images
RADARSAT-1, in operation from 1995 to 2013, is Canada's first earth observation satellite. Developed and operated by the Canadian Space Agency (CSA), it has provided essential information to government, scientists and commercial users.Ultimately, the RADARSAT-1 mission generated the largest synthetic-aperture radar (SAR) data archive in the world. In April 2019, 36,000 images were made accessible through the Earth Observation Data Management System (eodms-sgdot.nrcan-rncan.gc.ca).A heatmap of processed images was produced by the CSA and helps visualize the density of images available by mapped sector during the RADARSAT-1 mission.
Metadata from Scientific Dive-Based Surveys on the ridge of the Banc-des-Américains Marine Protected Area for the monitoring of the atlantic wolffish (Anarhicas lupus)
This metadataset was compiled to document scientific dive operations conducted within the Banc-des-Américains Marine Protected Area (MPA). Its purpose is to enable the tracking of field activities carried out as part of ecological monitoring of the atlantic wolffish (Anarhicas lupus) habitats and other key species.Metadata were collected for each scientific dive, following a standardized protocol implemented since 2014 that includes the date, participating team, GPS coordinates, depth, and dive duration. The released dataset contains only descriptive and contextual information related to each dive operation: dive identifier, site, date, location, conditions of execution, method used, and environmental variables when recorded. It does not include photographs, videos, raw biological observations, or analysis results.Quality control involves standardization of the metadata form, verification of GPS positions and recorded depths, as well as annual internal review of the dive series by the scientific coordination team. Established procedures ensure the completeness, consistency, and traceability of the descriptive data provided.
Metadata of benthic imaging surveys in the Banc-des-Américains Marine Protected Area
This dataset was developed to document the procedures for acquiring underwater images in the Banc-des-Américains Marine Protected Area (MPA). Its primary objective is to provide a comprehensive inventory of metadata linked to imagery campaigns that allowed us to conduct a basic characterization of the area, and now that are used for ecological monitoring of the benthic habitats within the MPA.Metadata were collected during imagery surveys conducted since 2012, using three main methods: drop cameras on the crest, baited drop stereoscopic cameras on both the crest and plains, and towed cameras on the plains. For each operation are shared the type of gear used, sampling method, date, geographic coordinates, and acquisition depth. The released dataset contains only descriptive information related to the acquisition of images : file identifier, location, sampling methodology, depth, and technical imaging parameters. It does not include image files themselves, visual content, or the results of image analyses.A systematic quality control is applied to ensure completeness and consistency of the metadata: field format standardization, validation of GPS coordinates, verification of dates and recorded depths. Clear instructions guide the recording of metadata to guarantee their reliability for management and scientific monitoring purposes.
OIC - Quartz Mining Act
Orders in Council (OIC) are regulations or legislative orders in relation to and authorized by an existing Act. This table identifies Yukon lands withdrawn from disposal, usually by Territorial Order in Council. In Corporate Spatial Warehouse (CSW) data is split out into spatial views by Act under which orders are authorized. The tables are comprehensive and include both active and expired orders. Spatial views show only the active data.In this table and spatial views, Regulations by Order in Council (OIC) are spatially represented to provide clarity regarding Yukon lands withdrawn from disposal. Spatial data is viewed by the Act under which the order is authorized. Not all orders are for withdrawal, different levels of withdrawal are common and not detailed in GIS attributes. It is important to read OIC documents for specific details ( [https://legislation.yukon.ca/legislation/page_a.html](https://legislation.yukon.ca:443/legislation/page_a.html) ).Distributed from [GeoYukon](https://yukon.ca/geoyukon) by the [Government of Yukon](https://yukon.ca/maps) . TANTALIS - Crown Land Operating Agreements
TA_CROWN_OPERATING_AGRMNTS_SVW contains the spatial representation (polygon) of active and applied for Crown Land Operating Agreements. Operating agreements provide for use of Crown Land for operation/development but do not provide for future purchasing of land. The view was created to provide a simplified presentation of this single tenure type from the disposition information in the Tantalis operational system. The same content could be derived from the TA_CROWN_TENURES_SVW by filtering to this tenure type only

Water wells
The well registry is a collection of records, including drilling logs and report documents, maintained by Yukon Government. These records provide information on the well construction details and subsurface conditions encountered at the time of drilling. Although some information in the dataset may be edited over time, the primary purpose is to document the original drilling conditions and not to provide an updated status of the well. There is no current overarching requirement for drillers or owners to submit well logs, therefore many have been provided on a voluntary basis. Therefore, this should not be expected to be a complete list of all wells across the territory. The water well dataset contains records obtained through the domestic water well program, voluntary submissions, and regulatory processes (licenses and permits). No identifiable personal information will be used or available on the public database. Agriculture land applications
Land under administration and control of Government of Yukon, Department of Energy, Mines and Resources (EMR), Agriculture Branch. Includes active applications for agricultural land including: (1) Agreement for Sale: A contract between two or more parties to sell and purchase land. The contract identifies conditions and terms of the transaction. (2) Lease: A special contract between a property owner (landlord) and a person wanting temporary enjoyment and use of the property (tenant) in exchange for rent paid to the property owner.Distributed from [GeoYukon](https://yukon.ca/geoyukon) by the [Government of Yukon](https://yukon.ca/maps) .
