Area Based Management Plans (ABMP) are designated areas for the purposes of environmental protection. It must consider the impact of point and non-point source of waste, cumulative impact of the wastes, environmental management objectives and outcomes for the designated area, and ongoing monitoring and reporting.

The purpose of this feature class is to identify the forest resources management zones within a Forest Resources Management Plan, as per subsection 2(h) of the Forest Resources Regulation. These sub-divided smaller forest planning areas or landscape units are based on watershed boundaries and modified by local access and development patterns. They usually contain similar management concerns and forest types. This 'Current' spatial data layer is publicly viewable and downloadable, contains the most current Legal Old Growth Management Area (OGMA) polygons and excludes any sensitive information. This data represents legally established and spatially defined areas of old growth forest that are identified during landscape unit planning or an operational planning process. Forest licensees are required to maintain legally established OGMAs when preparing FSPs. OGMAs, in combination with other areas where forestry development is prevented or constrained, are used to achieve biodiversity targets. This spatial view will show the most current polygons and excludes sensitive information. This data is viewable in iMapBC by 2 layers: Legal Old Growth Management Areas - Current, Old Growth Management Areas - Legal. This data represents spatially defined areas of old growth forest that are identified during landscape unit planning or an operational planning process. Forest licensees are not required to follow direction provided by non-legal OGMAs when preparing FSPs, and may choose to manage required old growth biodiversity targets in other ways. OGMAs, in combination with other areas where forestry development is prevented or constrained, are used to achieve biodiversity targets. The Zero Emission Vehicle Infrastructure Program (ZEVIP) aims at addressing the lack of charging infrastructure in Canada, one of the key barriers to zero emission vehicle adoption by increasing the availability of localized charging where Canadians live, work, travel and play. This Planning Map for Public EV Charging Infrastructure identifies priority areas and accounts for available charging infrastructure and expected charging needs with a focus on public corridor charging. To optimize web performance when using the map, it is recommended you zoom into the areas you are exploring. Priority areas are identified on a scale ranging from lowest to highest priority. Public Corridor Charging includes the EV charging needs of those travelling longer distances on highways and major roads. The objective is to ensure that EV drivers can travel over the majority of Canada’s road network connecting most communities in an EV without being limited on vehicle range. The map identifies priority locations within 1.6 kilometres of major roads based on criteria such as, traffic, expected EV adoption and distance between chargers

The Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC) is publishing a database with environmental monitoring results collected as part of the Eastern Athabasca Regional Monitoring Program. The samples are collected near communities located in northern Saskatchewan.
