This new data class brings over data from the Waste Management Information System (WMIS), which is a Microsoft Access based database used by the Ministry of Natural Resources (MNR) to track Waste Management Sites. This was married with the spatial data from Waste Disposal Sites where possible Different Waste Disposal Site types collected by the Ministry of Natural Resources include: * Compost Disposal * Hazardous Waste Disposal * Household Waste Disposal * Industrial Waste Disposal * Septic Drying Bed * Septic Field * Sewage Disposal * Tile Bed * Transfer Station This product requires the use of geographic information system (GIS) software.

Hazardous Substances and Waste Dangerous Goods Storage Facilities
The Ministry of Environment is responsible for Hazardous Substance and Waste Dangerous Goods Storage in Saskatchewan.Storing hazardous materials and waste dangerous goods in accordance with the Hazardous Substances and Waste Dangerous Goods Regulations (HSWDG), helps to avoid environmental impacts or risk to human health. To minimize these risks, the regulations ensure storage facilities are constructed, operated and decommissioned properly. The Ministry of Environment must approve the construction, alteration or expansion of a facility to handle hazardous substances or waste dangerous goods. All hazardous substance storage facilities require construction and operating approvals. Owners also require an approval from the Ministry of Environment to dismantle or decommission equipment used to store and handle hazardous substances and waste dangerous goods when they are no longer in use. Biomass Municipal Solid Waste Inventory
The “Municipal Solid Waste Biomass Inventory” dataset is a stand-alone product that provides information on the calculated amount of Municipal Solid Waste within each BIMAT grid cell that includes a population centre. Data was provided by National Research Council Canada, with estimates based on census data collected in 2016. This dataset was calculated using an area-weighted analysis between population centres across Canada, Municipal Solid Waste data and the Biomass Report Framework fishnet. It includes information for total residential municipal solid waste, total organic waste (food and yard) and total paper waste.

The Regional Air Quality Deterministic Prediction System FireWork (RAQDPS-FW) carries out physics and chemistry calculations, including emissions from active wildfires, to arrive at deterministic predictions of chemical species concentration of interest to air quality, such as fine particulate matter PM2.5 (2.5 micrometers in diameter or less). Geographical coverage is Canada and the United States. Data is available at a horizontal resolution of 10 km. While the system encompasses more than 80 vertical levels, data is available only for the surface level. The products are presented as historical, annual or monthly, averages which highlight long-term trends in cumulative effects on the environment.

Fibre Recovery Zones
The Fibre Recovery Zones (FRZ) define areas where increased waste rates may apply to avoidable waste left on a cutting authority as detailed in the Provincial Logging Residue and Waste Measurement Procedure Manual. The boundaries have been approved by the Director of the Forest Tenures Branch, Ministry of Forests, Lands, Natural Resource Operations and Rural Development. Current extent of the data is for the Coast Fibre Recovery Zones only.
