Geochronology
This dataset represents the geochronological ages for selected Precambrian rocks in the province of Saskatchewan, Canada. This dataset represents the compilation of geochronological ages for selected Precambrian rocks in the province of Saskatchewan, Canada. **Please Note – All published Saskatchewan Geological Survey datasets, including those available through the Saskatchewan Mining and Petroleum GeoAtlas, are sourced from the Enterprise GIS Data Warehouse. They are therefore identical and share the same refresh schedule.
Precambrian Domains
This dataset shows the Precambrian Domains for the Province of Saskatchewan. This dataset shows the Precambrian Domains for the Province of Saskatchewan. Mapping in support of the dataset includes years of field observations which were then compiled and integrated into this dataset. The data was created as a file geodatabase feature class and output for public distribution. **Please Note – All published Saskatchewan Geological Survey datasets, including those available through the Saskatchewan Mining and Petroleum GeoAtlas, are sourced from the Enterprise GIS Data Warehouse. They are therefore identical and share the same refresh schedule.
Rock Samples Index
Location of rock samples collected during Precambrian mapping projects more recent than 1985 in northern Saskatchewan and stored at the Subsurface Laboratory.Location of rock samples collected during Precambrian mapping projects more recent than 1985 in northern Saskatchewan and stored at the Subsurface Laboratory. This is an on-going compilation so not all map projects are present.
Precambrian Structure (GIS data, line features)
The Geological Atlas of the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin was designed primarily as a reference volume documenting the subsurface geology of the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin. This GIS dataset is one of a collection of shapefiles representing part of Chapter 5 of the Atlas, Precambrian Basement Beneath the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin, Figure 1, Precambrian Structure. Shapefiles were produced from archived digital files created by the Alberta Geological Survey in the mid-1990s, and edited in 2005-06 to correct, attribute and consolidate the data into single files by feature type and by figure.
Precambrian Structure (GIS data, polygon features)

Geology of the Precambrian Shield in northeastern Alberta, NTS 74M and NTS 74L (GIS data, polygon overlay features)
This GIS dataset comprises the metamorphic overlay features of Map 180, Geology of the Precambrian Shield in northeastern Alberta, NTS 74M and NTS 74L, published by the Alberta Geological Survey (polygon features). The data are created in ArcInfo and output for public distribution in shapefile format.
Relation of the Precambrian lithostructural units (GIS data, polygon features)
The Geological Atlas of the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin was designed primarily as a reference volume documenting the subsurface geology of the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin. This GIS dataset is one of a collection of shapefiles representing part of Chapter 5 of the Atlas, Precambrian Basement Beneath the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin, Figure 12, Relation of the Precambrian lithostructural units. Shapefiles were produced from archived digital files created by the Alberta Geological Survey in the mid-1990s, and edited in 2005-06 to correct, attribute and consolidate the data into single files by feature type and by figure.

250K Faults
This dataset shows 1:250,000 scale faults/lineaments of the Precambrian Shield area of Saskatchewan. This dataset shows the 1:250,000 scale bedrock geology faults/lineaments of the Precambrian Shield area of Saskatchewan. The faults/lineaments layer has been merged from the 1:250,000 scale Compilation Bedrock Geology map series. **Please Note – All published Saskatchewan Geological Survey datasets, including those available through the Saskatchewan Mining and Petroleum GeoAtlas, are sourced from the Enterprise GIS Data Warehouse.
