RURALROAD OFFICIAL
RURALROAD_OFFICIAL provides the geospatial information of rural municipal road network in the Province of Saskatchewan. It is one of the base layer used to create "Roadseg" layer for Saskatchewan Upgraded Road Network (SURN) and National Road Network (NRN). This data layer contains relatively up-to-date and accurate description of all RM roads in the provinceRURALROAD_OFFICIAL consists of Rural Municipal (RM) road system in Saskatchewan. RM road system is based on the Dominion Lands Survey. Original geometry of this layer is derived from National Road Network data layer. Rural Municipalities are the responsible of the correctness and currentness of the day and Saskatchewan Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure (MHI) maintained this data layer/table according to the NRN standards. This data layer is based on the Linear Reference System (LRS) concepts. KM_FROM and KM_TO fields store the start point and the end point at Kilometer information of the line segment. Unique Identifiers NID) is associated with each line segment. The "DESRD_PPID" is the combination of RM Number, Project Number and Road Type (224-201-10). RURALROAD_ID auto generated unique ID for each rural road segment. "NID" National Identifier is used to manage the updates between data producer and data users. RURALROAD_OFFICIAL data layer is one of the important data table for SURN, NRN, SASK911, CAR and other applications.
Built-Up Area
Built-Up Areas are man-made land cover features, ranging from small hamlets at rural cross roads to large cities. This product requires the use of geographic information system (GIS) software.
MTA - Coal Grid, Unit
Determines the location of Coal Titles within the Province of British Columbia. It is established under the authority of the Petroleum and Natural Gas Grid Regulation. It is defined by a set of UTM coordinates which approximate NAD 27 latitude and longitude positions. Units are the finest level of the Coal Grid. They are defined by UTM coordinates for their corners and the mid points of the four sides. A unit is the base building block for creating the Coal Grid. In a block there are 100 units, 10 rows by 10 columns, and numbered consecutively, starting in the southeast corner. The units are numbered 1 to 10, 11 - 20 etc. always reading from right to left. MTA - Coal Grid, Block
Determines the location of Coal Titles within the Province of British Columbia. It is established under the authority of the Petroleum and Natural Gas Grid Regulation. It is defined by a set of UTM coordinates which approximate NAD 27 latitude and longitude positions. Blocks are the second finest level of the coal grid. A block consists of 100 units divided into 10 rows by 10 columns. There are also 12 blocks in a group, comprising 3 rows by 4 columns and labelled A to L. E.G. 084E05L
Forest Tenure Cutblock Polygons (FTA 4.0)
This is a spatial layer that reflects operational activities for cutblocks contained within harvesting authorities. The Forest Tenures Section (FTS) is responsible for the creation and maintenance of digital Forest Atlas files for the province of British Columbia encompassing Forest and Range Act Tenures. It also supports the forest resources programs delivered by MoFR. Each feature contains a Ministry of Forests and Range (MoFR) FEATURE_CLASS_SKEY (number) column that further defines the type of that feature. The layer contains cutblock boundaries for the following feature classes: Forest Licence Cut Block (555), Licence to Cut Cut Block (616), Timber Licence Cut Block (810), Timber Sale Licence Major Cut Block (817), Timber Sale Licence Minor CB Non Replaceable (820), Tree Farm Licence Cut Block (833), Wood Lot Licence Cut Block (863), Community Forest Cut Block (2402), and Timber Sale Licence Minor CB Replaceable (2417). Each cut block has a life cycle status that is either PENDING - the cut block has been submitted as a new cut block or an amendment, but is not yet approved or rejected, ACTIVE - the cut block is approved and activities may be taking place on the cut block, or RETIRED - all activities, with respect to the harvesting authority, have been completed for the cut block

Bait Harvest Area
Bait resources in most of the province are assigned to harvesters through the use of a block system -- 1 harvester per 'bait harvest' area. There are exceptions to the block system (e.g., Lake Erie), where bait is allocated to multiple users fishing the same area.
