Manitoba Forest Management Units – Version 4
This feature class represents Manitoba's Forest Management Unit (FMU) boundaries.Forest Management Units (FMU's) define a forested area with common forest conditions that are managed in a similar manner. Forest Sections are comprised of FMU's. Forest inventories within Forest Management Units are analysed to determine allowable harvest limits of softwood and hardwood tree species within each Forest Management Unit. Version 3: The southern portion of FMU 67 within the Highrock Forest Section has been adjusted to align with base features captured in 2009. Additionally, an 11 hectare portion of the Saskatchewan River Forest Section (FMU 59) has been added to the Highrock Forest Section. Version 4: The northern portion of FMU 68 along the Rail Haul within the Highrock Forest Section has been adjust so that the boundary falls within water only. Additionally, version 4 splits the 'White Zone' forest section (FMU 76) by ecozones, creating FMU 76 (Taiga Shield), FMU 77 (Southern Arctic), FMU 78 (Hudson Plain) and FMU 79 (Boreal Shield). Version 4 is dated February 8, 2013. Fields Included: OBJECTID: Sequential unique whole numbers that are automatically generated . MANAGEMENT_UNIT_NUMBER : Management Unit (MU) number . S ECTION : Forest section number . SECTION_NAME : Forest section name .
Forest Tenure Road Segment Lines
Uniquely identifies all road segments within a road section
Stratigraphic Sections
This GIS dataset is a Yukon-wide compilation of detailed stratigraphic section descriptions from 421 locations as depicted on 51 published and unpublished surficial geology maps of various scales produced by the Geological Survey of Canada and Yukon Geological Survey. Attribute data for 1198 section layers includes: unit depths and thicknesses; surficial material classification; and detailed descriptive notes such as texture, structure, sorting, colour, age and/or location.
Herring Sections Shapefile
Herring Section shapefile - used for spatial analysis/presentation of data from Herring Stock Assessment Database.
Forest Management Units
An administrative unit of forest land designated by the Minister, as authorized under Section 14(1) of the Forests Act.

Provincial Parks Act Section 7 Lands
The Provincial Parks Act provides for designation of lands to be managed under the Act that are not established as parks/protected areas. These lands are 'declared' under the Provincial Parks (Section 7 Declaration) Regulation, and are legally described in Schedules to the Regulation. Specific provisions of the Act and regulations may be applied to each land parcel declared under section 7 to provide for management of the lands. Section 7 is used to address interim management of lands that have been acquired for park/protected area purposes but are not yet designated, or where activities not permitted in a park/protected area are being managed until such time as the activity is completed and the lands can be designated as a park/protected area. The applicable Ministerial Order is referenced in the 'NOTES' field.
Oil and Gas Grid Units
This is the Grid Unit portion of the Oil and Gas Land Division System. This is a grid system consisting of three sections, Area, Section and Unit used to describe Yukon Oil and Gas Dispositions, Leases and Licences. Every Grid Section shall be divided into Units.Distributed from [GeoYukon](https://yukon.ca/geoyukon) by the [Government of Yukon](https://yukon.ca/maps) . Manitoba Road Network 2018
Highway Planning and Design's 2018 Manitoba Road Network. The 2018 Manitoba Road Network was created by Manitoba Infrastructure, Highway Engineering, Highway Planning and Design (HPD). The department’s linear referencing system (LRS) uses Control Sections as a linear referencing method (LRM). The LRM is the digital representation of the Highway Network in Manitoba. The features indicate highway number and highway identity. This data was corrected using 1:60,000 digital ortho aerial photography dated from 1991-1998. Linear features have been updated on a yearly basis using GPS data, CAD files and 50cm imagery from 2007-2014, and is considered accurate to two-to-seven metres. Please note that this feature layer primarily contains only the roads that Manitoba Infrastructure is responsible for, i.e. Provincial Trunk Highways, Provincial Roads and Access Roads. However, you may also see Earth Roads (under construction) or Other roads (such as those passing through national parks and are federal responsibility).Fields included (Alias (Field Name): Field description.) OBJECTID (OBJECTID): Sequential, unique whole numbers are automatically generated. SHAPE (SHAPE): A field to hold geometry information. ID (ID): Unique Identifier generated by Oracle. Control Section ID (CS_ID): Non unique identifier linking segment to its respective control section. Road Number Signed (ROAD_NO_SIGNED): The road number. Note though, that in the case of co-routes, the lower highway number appears. This is a text field and differs from ROAD_NO only where there are city routes, for example 1A. Road Location (ROAD_LOCATION): Access Road locations. Road Description (DESCRIPTION): A text description of the start and end locations of each segment. Control Section Key (CS_KEY): An information rich key containing Region (two digits), Road Number (three digits), Section number (three digits), the Road Type (one character), and direction of travel (one character). MI Region (REGION_NO): The Manitoba Infrastructure region the segment is in. Regions 1-5. Road Number (ROAD_NO): The road number. Note co-routes will have the lesser highway number. Section Number (SECTION_NO): The control section's section number. Start Kilometre (KM) (START_KM): The beginning of the Control Section (always zero). End Kilometre (KM) (END_KM): The number of kilometres to the end of the Control Section. Length Kilometres (KM) (LENGTH_KM): End Kilometre minus the Start Kilometre. Road Type (ROAD_TYPE): The road type, i.e. PTHs, PRs, and Access Roads (Earth roads under construction may also be included). Road Direction (ROAD_DIRECTION): A = ahead direction on a divided highway (i.e. following the digitizing direction), B = Back direction on a divided Highway (i.e. against the digitizing direction, and U= an undivided highway. Road Identity (ROAD_IDENTITY): Road identity i.e. Provincial Road, Earth Road, Access Road and Other Road. National Highway Classification (NATIONAL_HIGHWAY_CLASS): The national highway classification standard. Start Date (START_DATE): The date the segment was created in the database. Inventory Year (INVENTORY_YEAR): The year the road segment was opened to the public.
TANTALIS - Land Districts
TA_LAND_DISTRICTS_SVW contains the spatial representation (polygon) of the current extent of the administrative areas defined under Section 2 of the Land Act as Land Districts. The was created to provide a simplified view of this data from the administrative boundaries information in the Tantalis operational system. These administrative regions are defined under Section 2 of the Land Act for the purpose of managing and uniquely identifying cadastral survey parcels
