The raster maps depict a suite of forest attributes in 2001* and 2011 at 250 m by 250 m spatial resolution. The maps were produced using the k nearest neighbours method applied to MODIS imagery and trained from National Forest Inventory photo plot data. As these maps also offer a coherent set of quantitative values for a large suite of forest attributes, they can be used as baseline information for modelling and in calculations such as merchantable forest volume or percentage of tree species. It is also possible to overlay these maps with other maps produced on the same pixel grid to make assessments of disturbance impacts, such as fire and harvests.

Administrative boundaries called mining divisions were once used for recording claims. This information is now historic. This dataset contains the codes for each of the 24 mining division. For example, 1=ALBERNI, 2=ATLIN, 3=CARIBOO, 4=CLINTON, 5=FORT STEELE. These boundaries are no longer used for current administration. Mining division is needed when submitting the title page for your Technical Work Report. They can also be used to reference historical records.

The bedrock geologic units designate units of the same types of rock which composed the solid rock exposed at ground surface (as outcrop) or which underlies unconsolidated surficial sediments. This dataset represents a general description of the stratigraphy and geology, including geologic unit thickness, morphology, age and rank. It features a list of the geologic unit names and types of rock (lithology) in the hydrogeological unit, from a controlled vocabulary. While the preferred format to deliver this data is by using a shapefile and its linked attributes, this dataset can be delivered also by providing link to external data which should have at least the same properties or also by joining a georeferenced image of the map.

This table is a list of polygon attributes to be used in map production for the vegetation Inventory map series. It contains attribute information for polygons in the inventory that are not labeled with the Inventory Annotation. This dataset shows the location of the distribution of structure form lines for the Province of Saskatchewan.This dataset shows the structure form lines for the Province of Saskatchewan and is designed for the Resource Map of Saskatchewan. Mapping in support of the dataset includes years of field observations which were then compiled and integrated into this dataset. FERRYSEG_OFFICIAL provides the information about the Ferry Connection Segments. Ferry Connection Segment is the specific representation of a portion of a ferry connection with uniform characteristics. FERRYSEG_OFFICIAL is one of the base layer used to create "Ferryseg" layer for Saskatchewan Upgraded Road Network (SURN) and National Road Network (NRN). This data layer has been created for mainly MHI data users, that require relatively up-to-date and accurate description of all ferry routes in the Province of Saskatchewan.FERRYSEG_OFFICIAL consists of the data for the average route a ferryboat takes when transporting vehicles between two fixed locations on the Road Network. "NID" National Identifier is used to manage the updates between data producer and data users. FERRYSEG_OFFICIAL data layer serves as a foundation for SURN, NRN, SASK911 and other applications.

The Metis Settlement is a dataset comprised of all the polygons that represent Metis Settlements lands in Alberta. Metis Settlements are lands set apart by provincial legislation for the use and benefit of the members of the eight Metis Settlements in Alberta. The legal title of these lands rests with the Metis Settlements General Council, a legislated-body that holds the fee simple interest on all Metis settlement lands, equivalent to full ownership of the land, with certain limited rights reserved for the Crown. The provincial government has primary jurisdiction over these lands and the people living on them.
