The Government of Canada continues to strive to be ever more open and transparent. This means a government that is open by default providing better digital capacity and services for Canadians.Under a modernized Fisheries Act, Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO) has made available an online Fisheries Act (FA) Registry that facilitates access to data and information, including geospatial data, about projects as well as regulatory process information. The new online version of the FA Registry is now available to Canadians. The FA Registry is currently accessible through the Common Project Search Portal, a one-stop online location for Canadians to search and browse through DFO authorizations as well as projects and assessments submitted to the Impact Assessment Agency of Canada and Transport Canada.DFO will be undertaking continuous development of the Fisheries Act Registry. This release is the second step towards implementing the full FA Registry that will provide additional content as well as new features to the FA Registry, increasing transparency and proactive disclosure as well as improving digital capacity and service for Canadians.

Limited Entry Hunting (LEH) Zones - Current Opportunities Polygon
Current Limited Entry Hunting (LEH) Zones polygons are hunting opportunities created via a lottery, and the details are found in the LEH Synopsis. Participation in the LEH draw is available to any resident of BC who legally possesses a BC Resident Hunter Number. The purpose of Limited Entry Hunting is to achieve wildlife management objectives without resorting to such measures as shortening seasons or completely closing areas. It is only introduced where it has become necessary to limit the number of hunters, limit the number of animals that may be taken, or limit the harvest to a certain class of animal. The Zones are valid during the LEH hunting season, and changes are made effective July 1st of each yearly. Some zones change frequently, some change rarely.

OIC - Placer Mining Act
Orders in Council (OIC) are regulations or legislative orders in relation to and authorized by an existing Act. This table identifies Yukon lands withdrawn from disposal, usually by Territorial Order in Council. In Corporate Spatial Warehouse (CSW) data is split out into spatial views by Act under which orders are authorized. The tables are comprehensive and include both active and expired orders. Spatial views show only the active data.In this table and spatial views, Regulations by Order in Council (OIC) are spatially represented to provide clarity regarding Yukon lands withdrawn from disposal. Spatial data is viewed by the Act under which the order is authorized. Not all orders are for withdrawal, different levels of withdrawal are common and not detailed in GIS attributes. It is important to read OIC documents for specific details ( [https://legislation.yukon.ca/legislation/page_a.html](https://legislation.yukon.ca:443/legislation/page_a.html) ).Distributed from [GeoYukon](https://yukon.ca/geoyukon) by the [Government of Yukon](https://yukon.ca/maps) .
