Vaccination sites are symbolized as a pharmacy, medical clinic, provincial vaccine clinic, etc. Other information available for each site includes provider name, whether they are accepting appointments, the address, and any special notes or restrictions on the location. Manitoba’s Regional Health Authorities are also displayed for context.The vaccine provider data within the app is populated by Manitoba Health, Seniors and Long-Term Care.

FluWatch is Canada's national surveillance system that monitors the spread of flu and flu-like illnesses on an on-going basis.Activity Level surveillance is a component of FluWatch that provides an overall assessment of the intensity and geographical spread of laboratory-confirmed influenza cases, influenza-like-illness (ILI) and reported outbreaks for a given surveillance region. Activity Levels are assigned and reported by Provincial and Territorial Ministries of Health. As part of the Pan-Canadian approach to transforming Species at Risk conservation in Canada, a total of 11 Priority Places were affirmed by federal, provincial, and territorial governments in December 2018. One additional priority place was affirmed in 2024. The places selected have significant biodiversity, concentrations of species at risk, and opportunities to advance conservation efforts. In each Priority Place, the federal and provincial or territorial governments are working with Indigenous Peoples, partners, and stakeholders to develop conservation action implementation plans. Using a defined planning approach (such as the Open Standards for the Practice of Conservation), these implementation plans identify key actions to address the greatest threats to species. Conservation implementation plans provide the foundation for collaborative action on the ground.The federal government, in collaboration with the provinces and territories, has agreed to the implementation of the Pan-Canadian Approach to Transforming Species at Risk Conservation in Canada. This new approach shifts from a single-species approach to conservation to one that focuses on multiple species and ecosystems. This enables conservation partners to work together to achieve better outcomes for Species at Risk. The RADARSAT Constellation is the evolution of the RADARSAT Program with the objective of ensuring data continuity, improved operational use of Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) and improved system reliability. The three-satellite configuration provides daily revisits of Canada's vast territory and maritime approaches, as well as daily access to 90% of the world's surface.RCM is tasked solely by the Government of Canada, to acquire data, first and foremost in support of Government of Canada services and needs. RCM data and services contributes to ensuring the safety and security of Canadians; monitoring and protecting the environment; monitoring of climate change; managing Canada’s natural resources; and stimulating innovation, research and economic development. In addition to these core user areas, there are expected to be a wide range of ad hoc uses of RADARSAT Constellation data in many different applications within the public and private sectors, both in Canada and internationally. The current data set reflects the acquisition plans that are designed to meet the RCM SAR imaging demands of the Government of Canada. These are being made available publicly in advance of the acquisitions. To meet the data needs of the Government of Canada, acquisitions may be changed without notice. After their acquisition and processing, the RCM image products listed in the current data set, will be delivered to the Earth Observation Data Management System - EODMS (https://www.eodms-sgdot.nrcan-rncan.gc.ca/index-en.html) portal of Natural Resources Canada. Users can register to the EODMS portal as public users to retrieve the RCM image products. As the COVID-19 pandemic spreads, researchers and health professionals have noted large differences in the impact that the infection has on individuals. Whereas some remain asymptomatic and unaware of their infection or experience only mild symptoms, others require hospitalization, ventilation, and may even die. As research evidence accumulates, both nationally and internationally, it appears that certain health characteristics, such as obesity or the presence of chronic conditions, increase the risk of severe outcomes among those who are infected with the novel coronavirus.To better understand which segments of the Canadian population may be vulnerable to severe health outcomes related to COVID-19, Statistics Canada and the Public Health Agency of Canada have worked collaboratively to build an index of underlying health conditions in the adult household population. Using information from the 2017/2018 Canadian Community Health Survey, new data tables released today estimate the proportion of the adult household population who may be at greater risk of severe health outcomes related to COVID-19 due to the presence of underlying health conditions.
