Water Licensed Works - Lines
Province-wide SDE layer showing linear works associated with a Water Licence
Drinking Water Sources (Surface Water PODs)
Province-wide SDE spatial layer displaying consumptive water licence points of diversion for drinking water systems. In the context of this layer, Drinking Water Systems means two or more water licences for domestic purposes at a single POD; and/or a water licence(s) for any other purpose indicating a water diversion and distribution system supplying water directly to residences and/or buildings for human consumption. This layer is an instantiation of the spatial view WLS_BC_POD_DRINKING_SOURCES_SVW
Water Licensed Works - Points
Province-wide SDE layer showing point works associated with a Water Licence
Licensed Springs
Province-wide SDE spatial layer displaying water points of diversion on licensed springs, joined with licence information. This layer is an instantiation of the spatial view WLS_POD_LICENCE_SOURCES_SVW
Water licence applications
Under the Yukon Waters Act, the Yukon Water Board issues water use licences for the use of water and/or the deposit of waste to water. Quartz mining licences - 50k
Major hard rock mining project in Yukon requires a detailed environmental and socio-economic assessment and various regulatory approvals. These approvals include, but are not limited to a Water Licence and a Quartz Mining Licence.A project must go through two distinct stages before mining activity can commence. First, an assessment determines whether significant adverse environmental or socio-economic effects are likely to occur. Second, a regulatory licensing approval process needs to take place. This data represents the location of Quartz Mining Licence in Yukon.Distributed from [GeoYukon](https://yukon.ca/geoyukon) by the [Government of Yukon](https://yukon.ca/maps) . Water licence data
These datasets include information on Licences under the Water Act collected by Alberta Environment and Protected Areas, for both active and inactive authorizations for surface water and groundwater diversions under a Licence (defined as a “diversion of water” under the Water Act).
Land Licences
Land under administration and control of Government of Yukon and disposed of by the Department of Energy, Mines and Resources (EMR), Land Management Branch in the form of active licences of occupation. A licence grants permission to do something which without the licence would not be allowable. Land Management Branch licences typically permit the construction and maintenance of power, telephone, water or sewer utilities on Commissioner's land. Licences of occupation are linear in nature and often extend long distances, hence the requirement for a separate feature class.Distributed from [GeoYukon](https://yukon.ca/geoyukon) by the [Government of Yukon](https://yukon.ca/maps) . Ratio of surface freshwater intake to water yield, by drainage region, 2013
This product provides the ratio of surface freshwater intake to water yield for August 2013, with the exception of drainage regions 7, 8, 16, 17 and 18, which use the ratio of August intake to the long-term minimum monthly water yield. Surface freshwater intake aggregates data from the Survey of Drinking Water Plants, 2013 and the Industrial Water Use Survey, 2013 with estimates of agricultural water use for 2013 based on the Agricultural Water Use Survey and the Alberta Irrigation Information report. Data for water use by the oil and gas industry and households not supplied by a public water provider are also excluded.
