Coal Field
This map service provides access to most of the Resource Map datasets shown on the GeoAtlas application.**Please Note – All published Saskatchewan Geological Survey datasets, including those available through the Saskatchewan Mining and Petroleum GeoAtlas, are sourced from the Enterprise GIS Data Warehouse. They are therefore identical and share the same refresh schedule. This map service is used by the GeoATLAS web application, sub-section Resource Map in the Mineral Exploration theme. It includes Base Metals Potential, Coal Potential, Gold Potential, Helium Potential, Bitumen (Oil Sands) Potential, Lithium Potential, Potash and Salt Resource Potential, Rare Earth Elements Potential and Uranium Potential schema in Production Data Warehouse. Note: Oil and Gas pools are found in the /Petroleum service.
Cratonic Elements
This map service provides access to the Cratonic Elements dataset shown on the GeoAtlas application.**Please Note – All published Saskatchewan Geological Survey datasets, including those available through the Saskatchewan Mining and Petroleum GeoAtlas, are sourced from the Enterprise GIS Data Warehouse. They are therefore identical and share the same refresh schedule. This dataset shows the Cratonic Elements of the province of Saskatchewan at 1:1 million scale. This data was compiled using years of bedrock mapping, compiled into a file geodatabase feature class and output for public distribution.

They are therefore identical and share the same refresh schedule. This map service provides access to the Geophysical Survey Index datasets shown on the GeoAtlas application. It will contain data related to Lithoprobe Lines, NATGAM Spectrometer and Aeromagnetic Survey Indexes data.
NG911 Site / Structure Addresses - Whitehorse
The Site / Structure Addresses layer represents the location of a site, or structure, or the location of access for the site, or structure, for the City of Whitehorse. Site / Structure addresses may also represent landmarks. Address points have the ability to locate sites that otherwise may not geocode correctly using the road centreline data, areas of unusual addressing, and other areas where the data is available.Data was modeled using the NENA NG9-1-1 GIS Data Template (NENA-REF-006. 2 -202 2 ).Distributed from [GeoYukon](https://yukon.ca/geoyukon) by the [Government of Yukon](https://yukon.ca/maps) . GeoAI - GeoBase Series
GeoAI are buildings, hydrography, forests, and roads automatically extracted using Deep Learning models applied to a source dataset, typically aerial or satellite images. The primary aim of GeoAI is to increase Canada's availability of high-resolution foundational geospatial data for both spatial and temporal coverage. The infrastructure and expertise put in place by NRCan enables a rapid, efficient, and scalable data creation process through the use of leading-edge technology and Artificial Intelligence models. Published datasets for a given source can be revisited at a later date as more accurate models are developed and put into production. For now, only static files are available, but as the series develops, new products and services will be added.
Douglas-firs (Genus Pseudotsuga) in Canada2011
The raster maps depict a suite of forest attributes in 2001* and 2011 at 250 m by 250 m spatial resolution. The maps were produced using the k nearest neighbours method applied to MODIS imagery and trained from National Forest Inventory photo plot data. For detailed information about map production methods please refer to Beaudoin et al. (2018) "Tracking forest attributes across Canada between 2001 and 2011 using the k nearest neighbours mapping approach applied to MODIS imagery." Canadian Journal of Forest Research 48, 85-93. https://cfs.nrcan.gc.ca/publications?id=38979 The map datasets may be downloaded from https://nfi.nfis.org/downloads/nfi_knn2011.zip or https://open.canada.ca/data/en/dataset/ec9e2659-1c29-4ddb-87a2-6aced147a990 * Note: the forest composition (leading tree genus) map depicts forest attributes in 2001.How can this data be used? The resolution and accuracy of these map products are best suited for strategic-level forest reporting and informing policy and decision making at regional to national scales. As these maps also offer a coherent set of quantitative values for a large suite of forest attributes, they can be used as baseline information for modelling and in calculations such as merchantable forest volume or percentage of tree species. It is also possible to overlay these maps with other maps produced on the same pixel grid to make assessments of disturbance impacts, such as fire and harvests.
Predictive model of graphite
This model is derived from geological, geophysical and other forms of geodata. Feature extraction used deep learning. Predictive modelling made use of the deep ensemble method. Displayed is a Pan-Canadian probability map of mineral potential of graphite. This map was generated using known graphite deposits and occurrences and their associated features. Higher probability values highlight areas with an increased probability of graphite mineral systems.
American lobster (Homarus americanus) abundance and biological characteristics collected from SCUBA dive surveys in the Bay of Fundy from 1982-2021
This dataset reports on lobster abundance and individual biological characteristics (size, sex, shell hardness, egg status), along with seabed substrate information, collected at various coastal sites in the Bay of Fundy, Canada. Surveys were conducted over a 40-year period between 1982 and 2021. Survey areas and SCUBA dive sites were located around Grand Manan Island, Deer Island, Campobello Island, and along the Bay of Fundy’s New Brunswick shore stretching from Passamaquoddy Bay, east to Maces Bay. One survey area was located on the Bay of Fundy’s southern shore (Nova Scotia) in the Annapolis Basin (Lawton et al. 1995). The data represent a compilation of SCUBA diving surveys (1003 belt transects) conducted directly by Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO) scientific SCUBA divers (1982-2019), or by contracted commercial divers funded in association with outside collaborating organizations; Department of Fisheries and Agriculture (DFA; 1990 – 1993), the Grand Manan Fishermen’s Association (GMFA; 2013-2015), and the University of New Brunswick (UNB; 2019-2021).Cite this data as: Lawton P, Dinning K, Rochette R, Teed L.
