Special intervention zone 2017-2019 (ZIS annex 2), period from 10 June to 15 July 2019 at 11 am
This layer shows the delineation of the perimeter of the Special Intervention Zone (ZIS) ofdecree called “Declaration of a special intervention zone in order to promote bettermanagement of flood zones”. This area was created from a variety of sources ofdata showing the flooded areas of 2017 and 2019. Since the adoption of Decree 817-2019, this dataset is no longer in force. For more information on the mapping of flood zones in Quebec, consult the Information available on the Ministry's website using the following link:http://www.cehq.gouv.qc.ca/zones-inond/zone-intervention-speciale.htm**This third party metadata element was translated using an automated translation tool (Amazon Translate).**
Special Conservation Areas
This boundary layer shows all Special Conservation Areas (SCA) in Manitoba. The purpose of this dataset is to show the boundaries of all Special Conservation Areas (SCA) in Manitoba, as designated by the Designation of Wildlife Lands Regulation (171/2001) under The Wildlife Act (C.C.S.M. c. W130). Special Conservation Areas are designated to conserve and protect particular species and habitats throughout Manitoba. The Use of Wildlife Lands Regulation (77/99) determines what activities are prohibited within each Special Conservation Area. Boundaries are drawn based on CAD files from the official Director of Surveys Plan stated in the regulation.Fields included (Alias (Field Name): Field description.)FID (FID): Sequential unique whole numbers that are automatically generatedName (NAME): Special Conservation Area nameD of S Plan (DofS): Director of Surveys plan numberArea_HA (AREA_HA): Area in HectaresSpecies (SPECIES): Species name
Special intervention zone 2017-2019 (ZIS annex 2), updated on July 15, 2019 at 11:00am
This layer shows the delimitation of the perimeter of the 2017-2019 flooded area found in Annex 2 of the decree called “Declaration of a special intervention zone in order to promote better management of flood zones”. This zone was created using a variety of data sources presenting the 2017 and 2019 flooded areas. For more information on the mapping of flood zones in Quebec, consult the Information available on the Ministry's website using the following link: http://www.cehq.gouv.qc.ca/zones-inond/zone-intervention-speciale.htm**This third party metadata element was translated using an automated translation tool (Amazon Translate).**
Special Area
The Special Area dataset is comprised of all the polygons that represent Special Areas in Alberta. Special Area is a rural municipality type defined under the authority of the Municipal Government Act. Special Areas were established under the Special Areas Act in 1938 due to extreme hardship of the drought years of the 1930s. The Special Areas Act of 1938 has more or less remained intact although there were some amendments in 1966 and 1985. Special Area refers to a rural area in southeast Alberta.
Fire Response Plan Area
##Get data on fire response plan area boundaries and recommended response types for wildfires. This dataset shows the boundaries of fire response plan areas and provides the recommended response type that corresponds to the official fire response plan for each area. Fire response types include: * full response * modified response * monitored response * prescribed fire The [Forest Fire Info Map](https://www.lioapplications.lrc.gov.on.ca/ForestFireInformationMap/index.html?viewer=FFIM.FFIM) shows active fires, current fire danger and restricted fire zones in place due to high fire danger.
Drainage regions of Canada
This product provides the boundaries for the 25 drainage regions in Canada and the five ocean drainage areas. These drainage regions cover all of the area within the coastal boundaries of Canada. These files were produced by Statistics Canada, Environment, Energy and Transportation Statistics Division, 2009, special tabulation of data from Pearse, P.H., F. Bertrand and J.W. MacLaren, 1985, Currents of Change: Final Report of the Inquiry on Federal Water Policy, Environment Canada, Ottawa.
Terrestrial Protected Areas Representation by Biogeoclimatic Zone
Biogeoclimatic Ecosystem Classification (BEC) zone boundaries with percent protected, number of overlapping protected areas and other attributes added as a result of geoprocessing in the Protected Area System Overview (PASO) application. Protected area and park representation by BEC zone provides a zonal ecosystem context for natural resource planning processes such as; management plans, land use zoning, environmental risk assessment, landscape analysis, habitat supply, and management of high priority species. Oil and Gas Grid Areas
This is the Grid Area portion of the Oil and Gas Land Division System. This is a grid system consisting of three sections, Area, Section and Unit used to describe Yukon Oil and Gas Dispositions, Leases and Licences. A Grid area shall be bounded on the east and west sides by successive meridians of longitude of the series 124 00' 00", 124 15' 00", 124 30' 00" ,etc. On the north and south sides by parallels of latitude joining the points of intersection of the east and west boundaries with successive parallels of latitude of the series 60 00' 00", 60 10' 00", 60 20' 00", etc. Every grid shall be referred to by the latitude and longitude of the northeast corner of that grid area.Distributed from [GeoYukon](https://yukon.ca/geoyukon) by the [Government of Yukon](https://yukon.ca/maps) . Forest genetics zone
This spatial data identifies breeding zones used by forest managers and forest genetic associations to manage provincial forest genetic assets. The data: * shows the boundaries of breeding zones * identifies the primary or target species within each zone Species are associated with certain breeding programs, seed orchards and progeny (descendant) testing installations.
Community Watersheds - Current
Boundaries (polygons) of areas designated as community watershed by government - that are all or part of the drainage area that is upslope of the lowest point from which water is diverted for human consumption by a licensed waterworks, if satisfied that, to protect the water that is diverted for human consumption, the area requires special management that is not otherwise provided for under this regulation or other enactment: to conserve the quality, quantity and timing of water flow; or to prevent cumulative hydrological effects that would have a material adverse effect on the water . Supercedes the '(DEPRECATED) BC Community Watersheds' dataset BC_COMMUNITY_WATERSHEDS
