Traplines of British Columbia
This dataset delineates areas for which registration is granted to one or more licensed trappers for the trapping of fur bearing animals under the BC Wildlife Act. Traplines are designated by a regional manager of the recreational fisheries and wildlife programs. The Wildlife Act regulates who may set a trap for, hunt, kill, take or capture a fur bearing animal within a trapline.
Registered Fur Management Area
The Registered Fur Management Area dataset is comprised of all the polygons that represent the Registered Fur Management Areas in Alberta. A Registered Fur Management Area (RFMA) is a parcel of public land, the boundary of which is described on the Registered Fur Management Licence. If a Registered Fur Management Area is described by reference to a line, that area includes all land within 0.5 mile on each side of that line. A Registered Fur Management Licence permits the licence holder to hunt and trap fur-bearing animals on the lands described on the licence.
Grazing Rental Zone
The Grazing Rental Zones is comprised of two polygons which determine which zone a grazing disposition (GRL, FGL, GRP) is in. These zones are used to apply the rental rate that grazing leases (GRL), grazing licenses (FGL) and grazing permits (GRP) pay to the government of Alberta for use of public lands. The Public Lands Modernization (Grazing Lease and Obsolete Provisions) Amendment Act came into force January 1, 2020. Under the new rental rate framework (Ministerial Order 01/2020), there are now two grazing rental rate zones based on the transition of the boreal region of the province. The North Saskatchewan River is the dividing line between the south (Zone 1) and north (Zone 2).
Fish Pathogen Management Zone Boundary Source
The Fish Pathogen Boundary Segment layer forms the boundary of the Fish Pathogen Management Zones and is made up of segments that were taken from the Ontario Road Network. This data class was created in order to store the road name information associated with each segment that makes up the fish pathogen management zone boundary. This product requires the use of geographic information system (GIS) software.

Biogeoclimatic Ecosystem Classification (BEC) zone boundaries with percent protected, number of overlapping protected areas and other attributes added as a result of geoprocessing in the Protected Area System Overview (PASO) application. Protected area and park representation by BEC zone provides a zonal ecosystem context for natural resource planning processes such as; management plans, land use zoning, environmental risk assessment, landscape analysis, habitat supply, and management of high priority species. This is the Grid Area portion of the Oil and Gas Land Division System. This is a grid system consisting of three sections, Area, Section and Unit used to describe Yukon Oil and Gas Dispositions, Leases and Licences.
