TANTALIS - Management Areas (Spatial)
TA_MGMT_AREAS_SPATIAL_SVW contains the spatial representation (polygon) of the management area boundaries established pursuant to section 3 of the Muskwa-Kechika Management Area Act. The view was created to provide a simplified view of this data from the administrative boundaries information in the Tantalis operational system
Herring Roe Fishery Catch Data
Pacific Herring roe catch data for British Columbia. There are five major stock assessment regions: Haida Gwaii, Prince Rupert District, Central Coast, Strait of Georgia, and West Coast of Vancouver Island; and two minor stock assessment regions: Area 2W and Area 27. Catch that occurred outside of the major and minor stock assessment regions is recorded as ‘other’. Herring roe catch data is maintained in the Herring stock assessment database. The sum of catch is in metric tonnes for a specified time frame, geographical location, and gear type. Due to privacy, catch where less than three parties fished in a given area and time frame cannot be released. In these cases, ‘WP’ will appear in this field.
Monthly Fraction of Vegetation Cover of Canada from Medium Resolution Satellite Imagery
FCOVER corresponds to the amount of the ground surface that is covered by vegetation, including the understory, when viewed vertically (from nadir). FCOVER is an indicator of the spatial extent of vegetation independent of land cover class. It is a dimensionless quantity that varies from 0 to 1, and as an intrinsic property of the canopy, is not dependent on satellite observation conditions. This product consists of a national scale coverage (Canada) of monthly maps of FCOVER indicator during a growing season (May-June-July-August-September) at 20m resolution.References:L. Brown, R. Oil and Gas Grid Areas
This is the Grid Area portion of the Oil and Gas Land Division System. This is a grid system consisting of three sections, Area, Section and Unit used to describe Yukon Oil and Gas Dispositions, Leases and Licences. A Grid area shall be bounded on the east and west sides by successive meridians of longitude of the series 124 00' 00", 124 15' 00", 124 30' 00" ,etc. On the north and south sides by parallels of latitude joining the points of intersection of the east and west boundaries with successive parallels of latitude of the series 60 00' 00", 60 10' 00", 60 20' 00", etc. Every grid shall be referred to by the latitude and longitude of the northeast corner of that grid area.Distributed from [GeoYukon](https://yukon.ca/geoyukon) by the [Government of Yukon](https://yukon.ca/maps) . TANTALIS - Integrated Survey Areas
An Integrated Survey Area is an administrative area within which a British Columbia Land Surveyor is required to integrate cadastral surveys with a network of control monuments under the Integrated Survey Area. Tantalis is an information system designed specifically for the needs of the complex workings of Crown Land Registry and to provide automated support for all aspects of Crown land administration. It was designed to provide a foundation for integrating spatial data associated with mapping of survey plans and administrative boundaries with attribute data associated with legal documents and administrative records. The system records and tracks the sale, survey, license, access, return, and restriction of Crown land in British Columbia. This new system introduced the capacity for further applications, to revolutionize access and processing of Crown land information
Wildlife Act Restricted Hunting and Trapping Areas
The purpose of this dataset is to give an accurate representation of the boundaries of lands closed to hunting in Manitoba. The purpose of this dataset is to give an accurate representation of the boundaries of lands closed to hunting in Manitoba. These are defined as lands where hunting and trapping are either prohibited, or special restrictions are in place for certain species and areas are defined within the General Hunting Regulation (351/87), Moose Conservation Closure Regulation (122/2011), Hunting Seasons and Bag Limits Regulation (165/91), and Trapping of Wild Animals Regulation (245/90) of The Wildlife Act (C.C.S.M c. W130). Hunting and trapping prohibitions or restrictions are implemented in certain areas to ensure the conservation of species or enhance public safety. Fields included (Alias (Field Name): Field description) FID (OBJECTID): Sequential unique whole numbers that are automatically generated Id (Id): The number assigned to each restricted area (not currently being used) Name (Name): Name given to the restricted area Restrictions (Restrictions): Description of the restriction applied to the restricted area Director of Surveys Plan (D_of_S): Director of Surveys Plan number which pertains to the boundary of the restricted area Regulation (Regulation): The regulation title defined in The Wildlife Act Shape_Area (Shape_Area): Area of the feature in internal units squared Shape_Length (Shape_Length): Length of the feature in internal units
Ungulate Winter Range - Approved

First Nation Permit Fee Simple Lands in Manitoba
This polygon dataset shows Crown land parcels covered by formal flood compensation and other settlement agreements with specified First Nations. The purpose of this dataset is to show Crown land parcels contained within formal flood compensation and other settlement agreements with specified First Nations (does not include Treaty Land Entitlement sites). The Crown lands are not intended for transfer to Government of Canada to be set apart as Reserve land. It is intended that the parcels will be held in fee simple, meaning a certificate of title to the land will be issued to a First Nation corporation.Best efforts have been taken to reasonably illustrate the parcels within the dataset as set out in the respective agreements. All boundaries are to be considered approximate and for illustrative purposes only. The mapped parcels are not removed (or regularly updated) following the survey or transfer of any Crown (Manitoba) land to Canada to be set apart as Reserve for the respective First Nation. For more information on individual agreements, please visit the Manitoba government website: https://www.gov.mb.ca/inr/settlements-and-other-agreements/index.htmlFields included [Alias (Field Name): Field description]OBJECTID (OBJECTID): Sequential unique whole numbers that are automatically generatedID Number (ID): A unique number identifying the land parcelFirst Nation Group (FIRST_NATION): Name of the First Nation part of the land claimSite Name (SITE_NAME): Name of the land parcelSite Type (SITE_TYPE): Site type descriptionArea in Square Meters (AREA): Land parcel area in square metresArea in Hectares (HECTARES): Land parcel area in hectaresArea in Acres (ACREAGE): Land parcel area in acresAgreement Name (AGREEMENT): Name of the settlement agreement under which the land parcel is administeredDate of Agreement (AGREE_DATE): Date of the settlement agreement under which the land parcel is administered
Aggregate Inspector Jurisdiction
This spatial dataset represents the boundaries of the areas of responsibility for aggregate inspectors working on behalf of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry. In southern Ontario, inspectors may use various criteria to determine their area of responsibility, including: * geographic township boundaries * the number of licences and permits in a given area * geographic size In northern Ontario, areas of responsibility generally follow MNRF district boundaries. Use our interactive [Pits and Quarries map](https://www.ontario.ca/page/find-pits-and-quarries) to learn more about active aggregate sites and designated areas.
